Just saw FLASH and it was one of those "out there" episodes where nothing much seemed to happen. Definitely enjoyed Talking Dead more. And did I miss why there was no George in FLASH but that other idiot Henry? I also found myself getting angry again. How is it that Murdoch in their 11th season can still allow William & Julia to have fun as a married couple but Castle couldn't? Very professional at the crime scene but in private...naughty detective & doctor!!
B George is off to Paris with his girlfriend.....Henry makes me cringe....wait 'til you see Biffers and Blockers....he really made me cringe with that ep, the word smarmy comes to mind.... BUT, BUT, BUT.....you will like --really like,-- some aspects of the ep.!!!!!!!!

Fjordmom - thanks for the heads up on Biffers & Blockers and yes! Smack time for Henry and the pathetic family that he is supposedly going to marry into. And yes! I couldn't help but think, "if only - Castle" sigh when Julia told William. I could just imagine Rick being exactly the same but, but, I am dreading what I think is going to happen because of something that I have read. Hoping that I have not read correctly but... I will post it if you are willing to give your opinion of what it could mean.

B Please post. I do wonder how long they can keep this show going. If the pregnancy does go OK, it will give them the opportunity of exploring a professional woman becoming a parent and all that entails.

We just watched the episode where she was going to marry another guy. Boy these two love each other but just won't admit that they are ment for each other no matter that she can't have kids. We will finish up season 4 today.

Tycho - doesn't the situation remind you of another couple that we used to love? So many characters that would ask if they were in a relationship (usually asking Rick) and it was a no. Fjordmom - ok, so this is what I read on imdb : Shadows Are Falling - After a tragic loss a visitor with an urgent request arrives at the Murdoch home. William and Julia, with the help of their collegue's must put their own feelings aside to help their friend avoid the noose.Your thoughts would be much appreciated in saying that what I am thinking can be something else. This would appear to happen in the penultimate episode and I really hope that if it is what I think it is, Julia doesn't do a vanishing act because she has failed William. B

I just read the comments on the CBC Murdoch Mysteries website...seems like the last two episodes will be VERY interesting...the comments make me both apprehensive and perhaps hopeful....I'm going to try to keep myself spoiler free from this point on....we'll see how I do I watched Crabtree a la Carte and really enjoyed it...Julia's raging hormones seem to be coming in to play

Fjordmom - good luck trying to stay spoiler free! Might be easier than it was with Castle though and I will try to not give away too much. I found myself spoilt with 2 really good episodes on different shows Monday, March 26th. I Loved Mary Wept. Poor Julia with morning sickness although it seems quite mild. Also an intriguing end with a possible mystery surrounding Julia's new assistant. Sadly once again I found myself saying "if only - Castle" with William and Julia and the prospect of becoming parents. What plans would Rick have made for that baby with Kate trying to rein him in! B

I didn't realize Stephen Harper was in an episode, I'll have to go back and watch this one. And then call my friends in Ontario to see if they watched this ep of Murdoch!!!!!!! I have also watched both seasons of Striking Out and really enjoyed it.

Watched "Murdoch Schmurdoch" and "Game of Kings" last night, the first was good, but like Game of Kings better. There are some very funny scenes, and sweet ones, too. 1Lincoln40, I think you will love it!!!!!!

After enjoying the episode about the weeping statue, I thought that the cookery competition one was quite stupid. I found the one with Roosevelt quite an interesting one especially the president's logic with regards to preserving the rare white moose. As for Julia, I was beginning to get worried at the way in which she was being written. She has always been head strong, with strong views and the ability to express them, but her behaviour in the last few episodes, I did not recognise that character. However she was somewhat redeemed when she was allowed to explain why she was against the names that William wanted for their child. I LOVED her reason.
Fjordmom as your next episode is the one that I am dreading Shadows Are Falling, could you please just say, "yes you were right, or no you were wrong" please?

I agree, Julia’s behavior has at times been beyond her usual demeanor and attitude.. I’m blaming some of it on hormonal changes and I think as a professional woman she doesn’t want to be treated differently because she is pregnant. I wonder where they will go with this. And I will definitely give you a right/wrong answer after I watch the next ep.

SPOILERS ****** SPOILERS ******
1Lincoln40, the answer is yes ... ... This episode was incredibly well done and acted and deals with a number of side issues as well... I'm not expressing myself well, but when you watch it you will understand. It is truly heartbreaking to see William and Julia trying to cope ... I am always impressed with the depth of emotion that Yannick Bisson can display when warranted as he is usually more guarded and really struggles. Helene is excellent, too. It will be VERY interesting to see what happens in the finale. Helene actually does spoil the Shadows Are Falling episode for anyone who hasn't watched it yet in her Facebook post of March 12th which I just found, if you want to be spoiled more .

Fjordmom - deep breath, box of tissues at the ready then in a couple of weeks. Wow, poor William & Julia. I really, really hope that she doesn't do anything stupid. There have been several season finales when they have been separated but usually find their way back to each other. However for Julia, knowing how much William wanted a family, she may just do what she feels is best for him...

B Yes, have that box of tissues handy....it was so well done I may watch again (not because I like to cry )...and it is actually a very complex picture, but totally fits both their characters and their deep beliefs based on what has been portrayed in past episodes .... and that's all I'm going to say . Can't wait until you see it and we can discuss!!!! And I do hope the finale is OK. You'll have to let me know if you want to be spoiled or not.
