Well I've got y'all beat.It gave me chest pain and sent me to the hospital for a stent in the circumflex artery! Just got home this morning. I'm fine now but possibly taking this way to seriously.
They have to step up to the plate and decide if it's going to be Castle and Beckett.
I wrote the episode where she rallied around Castle and her troops to fight the demons chasing her.Maybe next week.

This isn't the Castle I signed up for.
I thought the storyline of Castle's disappearance last year was ridiculous. This is worse.
They are writing Beckett as mentally damaged...and it is totally unfair. To them and to us.
We suffered through all the separating relationships. We followed Beckett, sometimes grudgingly, through the storyline of her mother's killer. That was supposedly closed and they were going to live happily ever after.
I WATCHED SEVEN SEASONS, WAITING FOR THAT.
The show runners shouldn't have tried to put such a sunshine spin on this storyline. They should have just confessed and said "we don't know how to write married people stories." And they also said "trust us...it will get better." Nope. Sorry. If you weren't smart enough to see this coming, then I see no basis for trust.

ruggedlyhansome, I do agree that the show runners didn't do themselves any favors with their interviews this summer. All of us who took them at their word expected to see a happy couple, or at the least a couple actively working through their issues together. If they had just come out and given us some clue, perhaps saying that Caskett was going to experience a rough patch or be separated by certain issues but will find their way back together...well, I wouldn't have liked it but I also wouldn't have felt so blindsided, angry, and betrayed. I'm not happy with this story line. I think the character arc is completely wrong on many levels and that TPTB have taken a horrible risk with the show...but I will still be watching and hoping for the best whatever that might be.

I don't know how many people here have tumblr accounts, but if you do, please follow writingonthecastlewalls. She provides excellent analysis of why she believes Kate did what Kate did. I don't always agree with everything, but she is always well reasoned and persuasive. Check her out. You will feel better.
