I sympathize with you, Fjordmom. While I did watch every episode live, I couldn't go back and watch them again until at least a week later because of ABC's lockout. I solved the problem by buying a season pass for the show on iTunes for $24.99. BEST money I've ever spent because I've devoured the episodes over and over! I also figure that if the show doesn't get renewed, I'll still have all 13 episodes to enjoy! I'm supposed to be trying to stick to what I'm calling my "austerity budget" ....bah humbug! I'll just have to be more mindful of when I can watch and not miss the window....which should be easier now that I'm hooked!!!!! It sure would be fun to have another rom-com that we all can obsess about!!!!! And you answered another of my questions about how many episodes there were!!

Fjordmom, I'm already there! Whiskey Cavalier has become my HAPPY PLACE! I've adored every single episode and every day I make time to watch at least some of my favorite scenes. It never fails to leave me with a smile on my face and feeling a little giddy inside. It does a body good!

Ep 9 was unlocked tonight, so just watched it. I do love the mix of humor and serious emotions of this show...will write more tomorrow. Sounds like 10 was a humdinger...But I’ll have to wait a week to find out.

I had some time yesterday and I poked around You Tube for Whiskey Cavalier videos. I thoroughly enjoyed watching several interviews with the cast members! Most of them were with Scott Foley but there were a couple with Lauren Cohan and the others. I thought I'd try to share the links here in case any of the rest of you who are watching the show want to see them.
This first one is a very short clip with Vir Das who plays Jai. It's amazing how he became a part of the show!

Here was one of my favorites with Scott Foley. This show really was his baby from the word go and he often refers to it as a passion project. He comes across as a really down-to-earth guy, great values and a committed family man. In all of his interviews, he seems relaxed and genuine. He's a lot like his character!

This one is longer. It's from the ATX Festival in Texas with Scott Foley. They cover a lot of topics so it's well worth the time.

Here's a good one with Lauren Cohan. I've watched a few shorter interviews and she came across as a little ditzy to me, but this one is much better.

Happy to say I am now able to watch via Hulu!!! Saw ep. 10, got to watch ep. 4 and will watch ep. 3 tonight.
Just a general procedural question, are we supposed to use the spoiler thread to discuss episodes now?

This is just my opinion, but I think that as long as we've all seen the episode, it should be OK to discuss it. I'm thrilled that you can now watch the rest of the episodes and finish the series on time, Fjordmom!!!!

I’ll be able to keep up, AND rewatch — I definitely understand your delight in doing that.. I know I’ll be watching at least once more, and probably beyond that.

Well, I've been dying to talk about this last episode and since there's a new one tonight, I figure it's now or never. If you're reading this and have not watched, consider this a SPOILER ALERT!
Man, this episode affected me! I love Will's character and to see him in so much pain and go to such a dark place, was really hard to take. It's like he lost his childhood innocence and I lost mine right with him. The episode still had some good humor woven in but I couldn't get by the heaviness of it all. That's actually a testament to the incredible writing. They set me up so perfectly with the adorable scene of Will and Emma rushing off to their missions after a quickie, and then following it up with the heartfelt phone conversation and missing each other. Despite the fact that we haven't seen Emma for 3 episodes, she and Will were obviously growing closer. I never expected that their relationship would be long term but I figured Emma might end up being the double agent, or they might just find that long distance wasn't working, but I NEVER thought they'd have her die so graphically and tragically. As I was watching last week, I even said out loud - "I can't believe they went there!" I thought the way they showed Susan and Ray showing up at the door was quite moving and, once again, everyone's acting was superb IMO.
I loved the story line of Jai and Standish dealing with their grief and their handshake. Those two have definitely formed a great bromance! I'm really impressed with Vir Das' acting. He's a stand-up comic by trade and he sure can nail the emotional stuff. Hearing him wonder if anyone would come to his funeral was heart wrenching. His character has shown so much growth!
I saw the Susan / Ray hookup coming a few episodes ago so I wasn't surprised. I have mixed feelings about it. It's been played for some good laughs but I shudder to think of what it may do to Will and Susan's relationship when he finds out. Although I've never been a big fan of Ray's character, I don't enjoy seeing him be used and treated like a disease or something.
And then there's Frankie. She sure has a tough time expressing genuine emotion. While she was respectful of Emma's passing, she never showed any signs of dealing with grief like the others did. I suppose it's her way of dealing with things but I thought she was too full of one liners when interacting with Will after Emma's death. In the opening mission, when they were competing, it was funny, but not so much later on. That being said however, the last scene in the shipyard was very rewarding in that Frankie opened up a bit about her own past and how Will's influence had saved her from herself. I've been so anxious to hear something like that and would very much like to see Will and Frankie talk more about her loss. She's come a long way but still has miles to go!
Lastly, I was surprised at the return of Ollerman a couple of episodes ago when he broke out of prison and thought he was a pretty vile character. I could see that they were setting him up to be a recurring bad guy but with this episode, I've come to the conclusion that he is pure evil! My goodness, I hope we get to see him taken down by the last episode. Once I saw that Emma got killed, that left only Tina to be the double agent that was hinted at in a spoiler bit I read a couple of weeks ago. It's going to be interesting to see how that plays out and I have no doubt that Standish is going to be a wreck with guilt. I highly suspect that the memorial star she gave the group at the end is some kind of bug or might even slowly dispense some kind of poison - something evil, for sure. I hope Jai figures it out and gets to be a hero.
All in all, they've set up these last 3 episodes to be pretty meaningful. I look forward to a lighter tone again tonight but I also realize that if we're going to see the evil forces defeated, we're going to have to have some significant drama. This show has it all!
