Mmmmmmelting!!!!! There is just nothing like a baby goat and this gave me a great idea. I can probably only reasonably afford to feed and care for PERHAPS 2 more kids next year (then I would have 7 Nigerian Dwarfs in total and would have to STOP!!!) but not sure and really need to think about that. I like to sit with them and give each of them some attention and brush them all, maybe 7 would be stretching things. But I am going to ask the breeder if she needs a hugger so I can get some kid fixes!!!!!!  So are you the goat lady now? I think herding goats might be easier than herding cats. The litter box has to be easier than cleaning up after a goat? I am definitely the goat lady now!! So far I haven't had to do much herding as their stall door opens directly into their field. Except, of course, on the extremely annoying occasion when their owner has forgotten to close the gate or person door.....then it's less herding and more desperate grabbing, putting collars on and dragging them back into their proper area because the grass is ALWAYS greener or things are more interesting outside their fencing!!!!!! As for clean up, I would far rather clean up after a goat than a cat...they have firm, oval pellets which don't stink! They are pretty easy to scoop up with a dustpan, I don't need to get them all, add a thin layer of shavings and they're good to go for another day. Things do build up eventually but the theory is to keep the bed deep for winter months to add some warmth. It's not much fun when spring cleaning has to be done because it's so packed in, but small price to pay for the ease of daily upkeep for a lengthy period. That was probably more than you wanted to know!  |

Netflix has finally added seasons 12 and 13 of Heartland. I've been waiting for this for a long time since we don't get the Hallmark Channel. Unfortunately, S12 has only 11 episodes and S13 has only 10, which leaves me wanting more, lol. I think there will eventually be a Season 14.

Dvr, I love Heartland too and am in the very same spot you are with watching. I just finished season 11. I can watch 12 and 13 through my Hallmark Movies Now streaming service but can't see season 14 which is in progress. I think they just showed episode 4. I don't know how many episodes there'll be in this season but I sure wish there were more in 12 and 13. One of my very favorite actors joined the cast late in season 9. His name is Kevin McGarry and he plays Mitch, Lou's on and off boyfriend. He also plays a lead role in When Calls The Heart for Hallmark and has done several Hallmark movies. I can't get enough of him and the funny thing is that his character on WCTH is named Nathan so I'm still a nathanfan!!!!!  |

nathanfan1, I watched WCTH on Netflix early last year. Five seasons were available, and I've been waiting for more. I wanted to watch some of it again to refresh my memory of Kevin McGarry's character. Unfortunately, WCTH is no longer available at Netflix now, and I don't know how long the wait for its return will be.  |

Unfortunately, WCTH is no longer available at Netflix now, and I don't know how long the wait for its return will be. Drvr, Kevin McGarry doesn't join the cast until the middle of season 6. In fact, the whole show takes quite a turn at that point because it was when Lori Laughlin was fired and they had to redo the rest of that season. I purchased all 7 seasons through iTunes so I don't have to worry about ever losing anything. I can't get enough of the show and am VERY excited that the new season premiers tomorrow night! |

Netflix dropped the show without explanation, so I'll either have to buy the discs or get it from iTunes. I knew the show would have to go in a different direction after Lori's legal problems (what idiots she and her husband were!). Her character was so pivotal. Now I'm looking forward to catching up with the show.  |

I love this photo. This is a wild tiger in a Russian national park and just like any other cat, he enjoys lounging in the sun. Of course, I don't know how he'd react if I booped him on the nose the way I did with my own cats.  |
