Yeah I don't think they have any idea yet about how far the wrong way they have gone. I think I would be happy if they just showed us a repeat of last year's final. It was a very nice way to say goodbye.

Either they truly are completely out of touch and delusional or they should be in politics.

You are hereby forewarned, rant coming.... Happy Talk: “We think the show has a lot of life in it,” Hawley chimed in, “as do these characters” — Reality: No, no one is dead yet but we're doing our absolute best to suck the life out of them ... Happy Talk: “That’s the great thing from our side about the storytelling this year, that we do feel energized by the shake-up and what it has allowed us to do,” Hawley said. Reality: Seems like someone's been drinking a LOT of Red Bull ... and incredulously, they believe their happy talk: "WE'RE REALLY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS." Too tired to expend any more energy on this....I need something more heavy duty than chocolate... ... Where's The Gong Show when you need it? !!!!! What really saddens me is watching the earlier shows and experiencing again how wonderful they were....and seeing Hawley's and Winter's names in the credits....WTH happened?

Anyone missing Andrew & Terri yet? You know what, i am. At least they had knowledge of these characters and canon. Yes, they strayed and lost their way at times, but it seems AH and TPW havent a clue. Whatever they learned from previous years has been wiped out - much like Ricks missing months.

Not giving me a good feeling about what we'll see when the show comes back in February. Can they really be that clueless? Is no one from the production crew or the network checking in anywhere to see how discontented the fan base is?
If this does end up being the last season, I fear we won't get a finale anywhere near the level of Hollanders Woods. Which would be very sad; that was a great place to leave it if the show had ended there.

Anyone missing Andrew & Terri yet? Yes.... Yes...Yes...Yes...
Marlowe worked so hard developing the Beckett Charcter...and in 8 short episodes, these two "Show Runners" have destroyed everythihg he did. She should have bloomed like a rose, but instead, we get a character that is so broken that it breaks your heart just thinking about it. I want you all to think about the last scene when she comes home....that is all you need to know. She barges in, drops her coat, and the camera is fixated on her facial expression and her body movement. Very unsure of herself, she knows she is torn between two worlds. She is talking to herself as much as she is talking to Rick. She is asking for help, but not in the marriage. Her love for Castle can't save her, and Rick tells her so she understands. It hurts her, but really, she doesn't even listen. It doesn't sink in. This is not our Beckett. She has gone cold. She is a spy until further notice. She thinks she has him right where she wants him, but what a surprise when he balks at the thought of her coming home like nothing happens. And lets be honest, she loves him, but she wants the separation cover more and Rick knows this. She can't sell it, but fortunately, Rick loves her enough to give this a try. We are left feeling very unsettled about this whole situation. We have mixed emotions. Some think this is a ploy to keep him close, but also, far enough away so as not to damage the "Investigation". She will use him, when she needs him. Her love for him is about the only thing decent she has left... as her world is beginning to cave a little around her. She is hoping that by returning, everything will magically change. Marlowe used to know Kate Beckett. I wonder if he knows her now. I wonder if he has to fight back the tears. This is one of TV's great All Time Characters! And she is cold and dark. The show is dark. In a weird way, she is fighting herself to get close to Rick, but she has created a wall of deceit and she knows it, but can't face it. Marlowe wrote for her the courage to challenge herself. He pushed her to want to grow. But Hawley and company regressed her with a tragic, and unrealistic backward slide that may cost her everything. They need each other to save each other to fall in love in again and make the magic. I am tired of this Darkness you guys. I need the light. I need the attraction. I need Caskett.
Yes, Marlowe and Terri would be welcomed back.
And you could let Amann write and produce. Bring back the old team and win one for the good guys. The bad guys and this story line need to go before this show does. 14 episodes and counting.

That was perfect kman, you said what i couldnt put into words. My only other thought, and this is just me, is that those two big Caskett scenes (as well as all of S8 thus far) has me questioning her love at all. That breaks my heart. I didnt see it at all in those scenes. I see a love for her vendetta but not Rick. I hope i see it in February.

Anyone missing Andrew & Terri yet? I miss David Amman, too. He got far too little credit for cleaning up the 6x23 debacle to the extent he did.
