Seems this is the episode where Adam Baldwin makes his return as Det. Slaughter. Oh joy.
Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think this is episode they are filming now which means it will more than likely be Beckett-lite since Stana is still in Europe.
Please let this not be the episode the show goes out on for the long winter hiatus.

We usually get to episode 10 or 11 before the break. Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards

You know, I wonder, because of Nathan & Stana wanting more time off.... is that the reason why the writers gave us this devastating plot twist... Had to write the story line this way.....? To allow Nathan & Stana their additional requested time off, hence less filming time together.... Man oh man.... Big sigh...............................

I'll say it again. It may have been better if they just ended the series last season.
If one makes too many commitments and tries to go too many directions, nothing receives one's 100%. JMHO
Yes. I'm still mad.

And it's certainly not something I want to watch. First a separation and now a Beckett-lite episode. Doesn't bode well for me.

I'm still mad. I agree. They both know what is required to film a one hour drama by now. If they are not willing to do that anymore just end it. JMO

Personally, I don't like to make assumptions about what's going on behind the scenes or how/if it affects what we see on the screen unless it's something official, like Stana not making the first week of filming because she was working on a movie.
Since I've started writing about TV shows, I've seen fans take pieces of information (for many shows, not just Castle) and fit them into a narrative that appears plausible but many times isn't true.
So, although I really dislike this plot twist, I'm desperately attempting to keep an open mind for Monday's episode.

I just wanted to put it out there that sometimes these things aren't what they appear to be on our end. Hang in there. Maybe we'll feel better on Monday. (Eternal Optimist. Must be why I like Castle. )

I read somewhere that we were going into the Christmas break with episode 7. Rob Kykker tweeted that that episode was named Mr. and Mrs. Castle. So, Episode 8 would be the one airing when we come back from the break.

Just because!!! Loved Jon and Seamus on HALLMARK HOME AND FAMILY!!! Later yesterday, saw a Jon Tweet to Erik, the sound guy, who is lovely and is frustrated with truly unkind fans--not PFJ!!! Sorry, can't now quote exact tweet--but similar to "Haters gonna hate--lovers gonna love--we're Castle makers--gonna make Castle!!!

Maybe they will not have to have any reruns or weeks without an episode this way? Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards
