Fjordmom, please know that I LOVE spoilers! Unless there is a twist that destroys the reason to watch. Like I worked out what the twist was in Sixth Sense from the trailer so I've never watched the movie. I also worked out Shutter Island from the trailer but I did watch the movie.
B.x  I don't think this will destroy your reason to watch but I did have to go look up the synopsis to refresh my memory....i HATE getting older  . Soooooooo, without further ado, well maybe I'll prolong this a little bit to keep you on tenterhooks, but no that would be mean, but kind funny, too, but it does seem like a very appropos fit for Shatner, he actually rather resembles a very revered American humorist....ok, I'll quit the stupid dilly-dallying rhetoric...wait for it.....MARK TWAIN!!!!!!!! |

Fjordmom, say what?? O.K...Not earth shattering for me as a spoiler, so thank you.  Now a spoiler for me would be knowing if George gets back together with Edna and if yes, it would make me extremely impatient to see how that happens. A spoiler would also be if Julia finds herself pregnant because I believe she doesn't think that's possible which was one of the reasons she was reluctant to marry Murdoch. However I would love if the son that he has imagined at various times was to happen, perhaps even if they were to adopt a young boy.

Fjordmom I don't know how you feel about spoilers so my sincere apologies but do I assume that episode 9 which you mentioned is the one that concerns my wish for Murdoch & Julia? If not when you get to the episode could you let me know PLEASE? My impatience for that episode is growing as I want to see that episode NOW! And what's sad about writing that is that kind of impatience was once how I felt about Castle

B.x OK, I get it....you ARE a SPOILER ADDICT!!!!! Well then, yes, episode 9 concerns your wish for Murdoch and Julia...it all happens very quickly at the end of the ep... so sweet....but I bet you probably would have figured it out WAAAAAAAY before me, since I was a teeny bit surprised . I'll be watching last night's ep tonight....will let you know if there are any good spoilers! And, yes, it is sad about Castle...I have gotten so I don't want to read anything that Hawley/Winter have to say and don't even want to watch sneak peeks... |

THANKS Fjordmom! Ok, sooo cannot wait to see that episode. I may just check to see if someone has maybe put the scene up on the tube. And I gather things go from bad to worse for poor George! Really hope he gets a happy life with someone, as he so deserves it.

Sigh...here's a show where they can show a happily married couple, with a baby... Last night's ep was fun watching Julia and Murdoch try to juggle care of the baby (I can't remember his name at the moment) as they are determined to have him with them even at work, at the moment anyway....Inspector Brackenridge (?sp) had to advise Murdoch on a thing or two about childcare and demonstrate for him and Murdoch of course "invents" something for the baby. The ep featured George quite a bit, but no female companionship as of yet. |

Murdoch S9 - so somehow this series managed to make me care about a supporting character. He didn't get his 'happy ever after' and it made perfect sense as to why that would not be possible, so bittersweet. Murdoch & Julia are not seen together that often now and yet they don't take each other for granted. You see two people who are happily married and show it! And Murdoch was a series set at a precinct but which still manages to give you a glimpse of a home life for some of the characters. If this series can do it, why can't Castle? Certainly will be watching this series live, sadly unlike Castle. Now 2 episodes still to watch...
