What in the world is Kate hiding from Castle? I'm gonna wait and see after next week, but I'm nervous. I'm not liking that she lied to him, even to protect him. You don't lie to your husband. Period. You do it together. UGH!

I think that was one of the best action scenes of the series. Very intense and I love Esposito and Ryan working together in that take down. The boys are awesome in this episode.

Wow that was a powerful start, had to keep a scorecard on everyone who died, very fast paced episode, and those spiders, looking forward to next week, I enjoyed it, but I found it quite different then previous seasons, cannot put my finger on it,

How many times does Kate really think she can look Castle in the eye and lie to his face like that before it fatally screws up their relationship? (regardless of her good intentions) How many times are they gonna have Castle let it slide before he "man's up" and actually calls her on it?
Seriously.
Hawley and Winter are not impressing me thus far. I hope they don't have Kate keep doing this.

Not going to make any conclusions about any of this until after next week. But she had to know that he was going to figure out something was going on. |

Unless this is about Castle, and him knowing anything would make it dangerous for him and his family. I don't think this has to do with her mom's murder. I don't think it's about her. If it was she wouldn't have lied. She tells him she loves him, she protected him, that's where to me it cemented that this is about him.

It might not be right, but we all know that in her shoes, castle would do anything to protect Beckett including lying to her. We may not like it, but both of them would lie and put themselves in danger to protect the other. It could easily have been the other way around and Castle would do the same thing. So let's not judge yet...because somewhere down the line he'll keep something from her to protect her. It is the way they are because they value the others life more than their own.

40 minutes in ... the pace seems to be a little too fast for me right now.
I think though it is because I'm suffering a headache to it is hard to follow.
Clara Stryker - lol. Although if Alexis was being authentic ... she should have said Clara Strike.

Since their relationship officially began (essentially when they stopped hiding it) exactly how many times has Castle looked Kate in the eye and lied to her face? Especially about something major like this? With the exception of helping his father, he hasn't that I'm aware of. He certainly hasn't made a habit of it to the extent that she has. Looking Rick in the eye and lying to him seems to be Kate's first instinct and something she does far too easily. She's done it repeatedly since season 5 and it has ALWAYS ended badly. Good intentions aside, and I don't doubt she had the best of intentions, this is not a good habit for her to be in. Lying to him put him in more danger not less. |
