She has no injuries but also no memory of who she is or where she is from. Spoiler...she is. A lab experiment who can do things when she gets upset. This will either be a hit or it will be gone soon. |

Tycho - thanks for the spoiler on Emergence. Definitely interested now and just hope that the UK gets it. Agree that it sounds like one of those shows that will either catch on or disappear without a trace. B |

Anyone watching the final season of The Durrells in Corfu on Masterpiece Theatre? I am so sad to see this show end..........it is one of the most entertaining shows I've ever watched and I know I'll be rewatching it in the future.......love the quirky humor, mixed with drama.

This was a very weak year for new shows 🤔 |

Fjordmom - there was a documentary about the family with Keeley Hawes doing the honors. It was interesting to see what happened to the family in real life after the series ended. Ibmjas - thanks for the heads up on the possible cancellation of Emergence. Still haven't seen any news on whether the UK will get this series. Also read about the cancellation of The Inbetween. Did anyone here see this series? Unless I missed them, I only read positive comments on TVLine about the series and disappointment that yet another series had no promotion nor an opportunity to grow an audience. It also seemed to me as if that audience is looking for shows beyond the reality ones and if they do find something of interest, it's canceled. I'm looking forward to the 10 episodes of The Inbetween which begins in the UK on November 11th. Also just to say that the UK has begun His Dark Material by Philip Pullman and it appears to have had positive reviews not just from the critics but from fans of the books. Prejudiced I am, but anything with Ruth Wilson is worth watching. B |

I've watched a few more episodes of Evil. It is really weird and I have to say I can't recommend it. I doubt I last much longer.
On the other hand, I'm really enjoying The Prodigal Son. The son of a serial killer tries to solve murders even though he is still messed up from the trauma caused by his father. In order to solve some of the murders he consults his imprisoned father which is a bit traumatic for him. Definitely a different take on the homicide detective story line.

I am loving the reruns of the orginal "power of three" with Prue, Piper & Phoebe. Although it would appear that I didn't follow Charmed that closely, I know I disliked Phoebe first time around and I dislike her even more now! For me, the three actors were well chosen because they feel like sisters. B. |

Although I did not love Phoebe at first, she grew on me by the end of the series. Piper was always my favorite but she also changes as time goes on. I don't want to give away any spoilers so I'll wait to see how far you get in the series to comment further. |
