Hi Everyone, At TV Fanatic we do something called Throwback Thursdays where we take a look at TV from the past. This week I did a post for the most memorable TV couples from the 1980s. I was a latch-key kid in the '80s and watched a lot of TV (probably why I'm a TV reviewer today.) I can talk '80s TV all day long. I'd love it if you'd take a look and let me know what you think. Did you have a favorite back in the day? www.tvfanatic.com/slideshows/top-tv-couples-from-the-1980s/

I loved Remington Steel and Scarecrow & Mrs King. I didn't watch as much TV back then as I was focused on things with my kiddos.

It was must see TV for me. I used to have to fight to stay up to watch Remington Steele. I remember one year it was my birthday (I was maybe 11) and I wanted to stay up to watch the show. My parents made me go to bed anyway. I cried for an hour. What good is a birthday if you can't stay up to watch one of your favorite shows? For those younger folks, this was pre-VCR days. You watched it when it aired or you missed it.

Their favorite was stay up late to watch one TV show & watch a TV movie and stay up late. That way they had to really want to watch and it have them some control. These coupons were golden:-* Sent from my SCH-I605 using proboards

I am familiar with all of these couples, but the only two that I watched regularly were Scarecrow and Mrs. King and Remington Steele. LOVED those two shows. I grew up without a TV, so I saw them only sporadically or in re-runs. The night they aired the Remington Steele finale, my sister and I lied about going to the library and snuck into my Dad's office at work and watched it. :-) One of the best nights of my life. :-)

Technically, Heart to Heart Started in 1979, but it carried on deep into the 80's, so I am going with Jonathan and Jennifer. Loved the show and Robert Wagner and Stephanie Powers.

I guess we have to mention David Addison and Madden Hayes, since they invented the now famous "Moonlighting Curse" as well

kman, Dave and Maddie from Moonlighting were first on my list. I loved that show its first three seasons. After that it died a slow and painful death. Every week became more tortuous until the end. The only curse that show really had was that of poor writing the last two seasons and two lead actors who couldn't stand to be in the same room. As for Hart to Hart, I didn't think of that one. I really never watched the show but I've always heard good things about it.

You can watch Heart to Heart On Me TV or Cozy as well as the Hallmark Channel....Lots of fun And Great Chemistry between Wagner and Powers....and...That last season Moonlighting was just so awful and confusing that I just gave up.. but those first three seasons were so much fun. And yes, the "tension" between Willis and Shephard was great. I often wondered if hating your co star made for better on screen "foreplay" between those two. But what I really loved about Moonlighting was its supporting cast...they added the zest that drove the Maddie and David down that crazy slapstick road...

Where is Tony and Angela from Who's the Boss???
Everyone always forgets them!
They kept up the will they/won't they for seven seasons before getting together in season 8 and had some of the best on-screen chemistry of the decade.
They were my first ship and still one of the best out there. To refresh your memory, here's some great "best of" scenes! :-)

They probably should have made the list.
