It looks like they are taking pre-orders for the next and probably last, Nikki Heat book. I think they are going to bring the characters from Nikki Heat and Derrick Storm together and also maybe bring back Nikki's Mom? I still haven't read "Driving Heat" and "High Heat", although both of them are standing on my bookshelf... I really enjoyed Driving Heat. It has a happy ending, which is probably why I haven't read High Heat...I don't want to ruin the high. |

Is there anyone reading this book? I am trying to read it slowly as we are heading on a trip next week and I want to save it to read. I have already looked up 5 words that I've never heard of before. It makes me think Andrew had a hand in this book.
Here are 3 of the words I had to look up: flagrant delicto, codicil, peccadillo.
Let me me know if you are reading and what you think.

Two bad guys are killed off "Alexi Harley and Terrence Paul Winter". I'm thinking this will be a good thing for Nikki and Storm.

Haven't read it yet but it is in my "stash" of things to read. I'm currently addicted to the Longmire mysteries by Craig Johnson and am enjoying them immensely. The books are better than the TV series IMO but we do enjoy both!!!

I have finished the book. I have to say I would recommend this book now that I finished. The one before...skip that one. Up t chapter 15 I was almost ready to just stop reading. They wrote a good way for the Derrick Storm and Nikki Heat series to merge into a new blended series. I would love to see this continue with the two storylines.
I have to believe that Andrew had a hand in this book. The bad guy storyline in these books was MUCH better and plausible than the convoluted LokSat insanity we saw in Season 8.
If you have read this book let me know in a private message if you don't want to spoil.
( I tried to not spoil for those who haven't read this book yet)

tycho657 - Read it, and enjoyed it immensely. Loved the fact that AH and TPW were killed off. I wonder if the writer of the book realized how intensely the Castle fanbase disliked them. ^-^
