Beckett wonders if he’s right. They wanted to set her up as a really great cop and that she doesn’t like unanswered questions. Although they aren’t working together, they’re both working towards solving the crime.

This car scene with NF, Molly, and Susan was shot on a brutally hot day of about 100 degrees and it was even hotter in this room with the lights.
Someone asked NF if he could pick up the pace and NF said that he was saying the words as fast as he could remember them. There was a lot of dialogue in this scene.

This was great editing too. The way they flipped between Castle in the car and Beckett in the precinct -both working through the evidence, was wonderful!

I started watching Castle because Stephen Cannell recommended this new show with such great characters. The rest is history.

Jon makes fun of their hot scene in the car because he and Stana were in a nice, air conditioned studio filming the scenes that are cut in.

SK asks about picking the music. Andrew says they wanted something that was instrumental but fun. This mandolin music served as both a backdrop to Castle’s hi jinx and can turn on a dime to bring you into the mystery.

The car scene was our first glimpse of the dialog between Beckett and Castle and they build theory together. Wonderful!

This actor who played the father was in the movie 2001. Keir Dullea - Rob walked up to him and asked if he could do him a favor and Keir just said, “Open the pod bay doors, HAL.” Rob thought that was so cool.
