This was a perfect pilot. You really got to know the characters so well. You know where Castle and Beckett are coming from as they now start solving the murders and finding the stores together.

This was my first ever viewing party you guys! It was fun but kind of chaotic. It's a good thing I know this episode by heart.  I actually quit trying to watch and just listened and posted. It would definitely be easier if I had 2 different devices. |

Yes. I watch a lot of TV and very few pilot episode truly hook me from the start. Castle's did. I remember that I couldn't wait to see the next episode and that's rare.

Teresa, I had the very same idea. I think it would be good to pause at the commercial breaks for comments and reading.

Anyone want to nominate another season 1 episode for next time? I'd be most interested in either #5, #6 or #7. All of them had great moments.

Yes, during the week we'll have to talk about which episode to do next Monday. This was fun, but chaotic. Maybe we can have planned breaks where commercials were supposed to be.

I was interrupted by a phone call from my sister who will be here this weekend. Anyway, this was great fun. I'm up for doing other episodes.
