30 seconds does not make up for that horrible episode! Well, it's better than what that last 30 seconds probably would have been if it had been renewed. Absolutely, I just hate that we only got 30 seconds of happiness in the series finale. |

I'll take it. Maybe someday Andrew and Terri can write us a proper ending or a continuation of the story... |

I didn't think it was that horrible of an episode. I would have actually been ok with them both dying together, but am glad they didn't. I actually thought that was the ending and started swearing and crying. Wondering what the ending would have been had the show been renewed.

I think I know how they were gonna play this with Kate alive.
Castle and Beckett survive getting shot, but Castle wakes up to learn Beckett has disappeared from the hospital.
Season 9 has Castle obsessed with finding her.

Was Caleb coming after them really necessary? Really? no....one twist too many....the writers took great care to serve up McReaney on a platter....We thought Caleb was dead... again something that just doesn't add up....and how the hell does he keep getting nto the apartment? |

Someone lost a 30 second spot. It wasn't supposed to be there. They just added it to the mix. Their plan backfired when the fans went bat shi...t and they had only this tidbit to offer the best and most devoted fans in the world. I guess their plan was for Kate to die or be in a coma or something and Rick goes looking for himself. It turns out that we learned he had flaws as well. She dies, he lives, but dies everyday, and struggles to survive. |

Eh ... alternate ending... I like but I wonder if that was the real thing if the series was to be cancelled... but to quote Simon Doyle

Hawley and Winters should never be hired again... Anywhere Or not put in charge anyway. At least not until somebody sits them down and explains to them what the word "fun" actually means. |

My scenario was that Kate disappears from the hospital and Castle spends all of season 9 looking for her. But yeah... pretty much the same result. |

He must be some murderous demon hell bent on killing Castle and Beckett and able to magically walk through walls because nothing else makes sense. How else does this man simply appear in their loft, not once but twice? But let's face it, there were plenty of plot holes you could drive a truck through in this episode. The more I think about it, the more I just want to forget it even exists. |
