This episode has been freaking exhausting. Remember when Castle was a happy show? Not always. There have been some pretty intense episodes over the years. Yeah, most of the Bracken and 3XK episodes were pretty dark. |

If it were a season finale cliffhanger that brought us back for season 9 with Caskett intact, I could have dealt with this episode but it still wouldn't have been a favorite. As it is, I can't believe they were going to kill Beckett like that. That final 30 seconds felt like tacked on fluff. I'm glad it's there and I liked one or two scenes but I still hated this episode as a whole...especially since it's the series finale.

One of the best parts of this episode was the hug between Kate and Lanie, loved that

Loved the scene where Castle is on the table and says why he loves Kate. And when Kate tells the LocSat guy about Castle. Need to rewatch and write down those words.
