#12 reminds me of 5-24, 'Watershed' as Kate walked over to the swings to meet with Rick.

I may never see this episode. At least we know they are both in a big scene together. About time Castle got his own gun. We know he is a crack shot. I wonder if Vikrums true colors will be exposed in this episode? How can ABC ignore the backlash when every story about the show is against their plans for the future? I have to say my favorite picture is the bts shot of Stana & Nathan Yes. It's so nice to see them together and smiling. Usually these slideshows don't include the behind the scenes stuff but I used that shot because it made me smile.

I most likely will not watch the finale as they almost have to kill Kate for there to be a S9. She has been a "friend" for 8 years and I do not want to see her die. I prefer to remember her as the Kate Beckett we knew and loved. I know it's silly of me to feel this way but that is how it is.

Geezer, I am totally there with you. Between DVDs, books, card games and whatever else has been sold they should be able to afford to keep all of their original cast. I so wanted to see a Season 9 where Kate is pregnant and how she and Rick handle that. He has the experience and I bet there could have been some very funny scenes with that story. Now I am starting to get ticked off again so I will stop here.

Geezer, Csttraveler018, I could not agree with you more, I will not watch season 9 and am just devasted the way season 8 was handled. They took a wonderful show and this season just decimated it, I have never been invested in a TV show ever like I was in a Castle, I could go on but again as stated avove I will have to stop.

Since they want a "fresh start" and will go on without Beckett, I really don't believe that they will follow any other scenario than not killing her.
But here's a ray of hope: wasn't it mentioned somewhere that in a spring episode a major character would be a person of interest in a murder and that might mean a significant career change? Do you think it might be Kate? Funny that this sounded so bad when we talked about it then but doesn't sound so bad now...Anyway, how would they keep Kate out of the screen for "years to come"? Unless they are looking for a short final season. But then they wouldn't call fresh start..... Ok, I'm rambling:-)

I saw one on facebook, and broke into tears. I can't possibly look at any more. This is just so heartbreaking. It's been hard enough knowing all this time, that one day, our beloved show would come to an end. But never, ever, did I dream it would end like this. It's like a Greek tragedy.

And you know my dear CK....the Greeks invented tragedy. Not only did we invent it, we refined it. Lets just say, it is not good. I really feel for you. This show has effected so many people in so many different ways. Wow....who would have thought that was possible? Thanks to Marlowe for creating this cup of awesomesauce. Did you ever wonder what would have happened had they had the big wedding at the Hamptons? This show may have gone on for years to come.

How could they possibly have season 9 without Stana? One would hope the they find a new name for this series because Castle would be a lie. And no, I could not watch either. I have to be loyal to the show and more importantly Stana and Marlowe.

It would have been great if they had known how to put together the procedural/week cases with a happily married couple and a growing family....

I like Nathan and the boys but not enough to watch knowing that Stana will not be there also. The sadness would not allow me to enjoy the show so therefore I do not intend to tune in. Would like to say that I wish them luck but I can't bring myself to even do that because I feel so bitter about what has happened and the way it happened.
