I have been wanting to do this for a very long time, but for many reasons, hesitated. Since Christine mentioned java , I thought it was time. Please don't ask me any questions, just know that he's been very sick. It's one of those flukes in life, that he came down with an acute condition, life-threatening, which happened very suddenly. He is on the mend, and I thank God every day for his life. I have met this wonderful person ~ my husband and I went to see him two weeks after he became so ill. If you are the praying kind, please pray for his continued recovery. He is in his wonderful family's care, and is steady on. He is a fighter, and I will bless the day I see his name pop up here! If you are not the praying kind, send your good thoughts, healing wishes, happy sentiments, anything you feel you can do... and we will hope the Universe will reunite him here with us soon...  That is all I can say, but let's keep this thread about him, just posting thoughts, encouragement, MUSIC that may inspire, anything you feel that, by "knowing him from here", he would enjoy. You get the idea. I'm sharing this very intimate photo of when we first met. It is very pared down, but I am holding his hand, and my cheek is against the back of his hand. He is one of the creams in my coffee, one of the best friends ever to hold a place in my life, and the brother I would've picked for myself, had I been given that option....and he remains in my heart. #always  |

Java has been on my prayer list for months. I also can't wait to see him post one of his wonderful music threads again.

I did not know that our wonderful Java was ill....I am so sorry to hear this news...may God Bless and watch over this fine gentleman. If I could give one piece of encouragement to you Java, it is that everyday you see the sunrise, you know the Lord has plans for your recovery. It is that miracle that provides hope and reminds you that everyday you get stronger as his will and grace showers down on you. You are blessed with a wonderful family. Open your heart to healing and be glad that they are with you as well. And think of all the fine people in this room who are pulling for you as well. There are strength in numbers.

I am so sorry to hear of your illness....I thought it was odd that we had heard nothing from you and was about to send you a message to see if you were still around (although it's always second nature for me to PROCRASTINATE, unfortunately), so, although very unhappy about what you are going through, I AM happy to hear you are on the mend. We will all look forward to when you feel well enough to join the fray....or frivolity as the case may be. You are in my thoughts and prayers!!!!!!! And here's a little music for you....I think it was you who introduced me to The Piano Guys via one of your postings...I am just in awe of them, and first found their cover of Fight Song/Amazing Grace, and then Rachel Platten's official Fight Song video. Java has been in my thoughts for quite a while. Lets make certain that this thread stays on the first page. Since Java information is sketchy we don't know how long it will take him to access this site, I feel he needs to know that his Castle family have been concerned and are looking forward to "seeing" him again.... ASAP!!!! Get well Java Man!!!!
