Ummmm...they didn't include a category for someone who won't go near a Starbucks...no way, no how....for a number of reasons. I'm sure that is a good indication of my age!!!!!

Well, they hit pretty close to the truth for me with 43 years old. The problem is that now I'm craving a skinny vanilla latte but probably won't have the time for one today.

Too bad we are on opposite coast. I have my own espresso machine and made my own skinny vanilla iced late this morning. Would have been easy to make another: Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards

Before I tell you the results, I first have to LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL !!!! My 25 year old daughter did this first and her result was age 32. Since I rarely (if that often) go to Starbucks, I had her describe the various sizes and types of coffee. My result was age 21, well below my true age hahaha!

I too wouldn't touch Starbucks with a barge pole but I did the quiz anyway and I'm 43! Oh, I wish. Only out by 24 years!

Hahahaha, the quizzes ARE silly, but I do get a kick out of them! Okay, I got 43 also, the one that shows Robert Downy, Jr. It says that we have refined taste in coffee, blah blah blah... something about not settling for anything but the best. lol... Pretty close to my age, I'm 49. Well, the light and the dark on the matter, is that I'm a bonna fide coffee snob. I admit it, and don't care what people think about it. Don't give me diner coffee, McDonald's, Folgers or Maxwell House caliber. Sorry. See. Snob. Coffee isn't cheap, life is short, and I don't drink (ocassional port wine), smoke, bowl, gamble or frequent the mall, so, my dear hubby doesn't begrudge me. I DO frequent Starbuck's when I"m out, but not for the fru-fru stuff. I like straight up coffee, with half & half. That's it. The Starbuck's Anniversary Blend, which is only out in October, is my favorite blend by them. I was introduced to the Anniversary Blend on my 40th birthday, as my birthday is in October. One of my besties brought a boat-load of it to my surprise 40th party, for my gift, and I've been overjoyed every year on my birthday to drink that brew for my birthday month. Starbuck's signature blend is Pike's Place, and that is my other preferred when I go there. I also like Seattle's Best "Spirited Start" blend for my every day brew at home. Lastly, a precious friend bought me a milk frother for my birthday last year. So, as I have that beautiful machine, my latte or cappuccino style milk is a welcome addition to my afternoon brew at home. I can also make the lattes, as my frother is a Breville, and with a tablespoon of vanilla syrup to the milk/cream, and some cinnamon sprinkled on top, real whipped cream if I'm feeling ambitious... well, that's an indulgence. I love making them for company when they come for coffee. Life with coffee is a wonderful world. I enjoy sitting in a cafe with my laptop or iPad by myself sipping the liquid love, as well. It soothes my soul. I fear only fellow coffee-lovers will "get me". But I"m okay with that. And, "You're the Cream in my Coffee" is a beloved phrase. For more reasons than one. My future hope is to be able to afford a rockin' coffee/cappuccino/espresso machine like Castle bought that sits in the 12th break room. If only.

I am with you Castlekat. The best coffee is when you can get it fresh roasted. We brought back some peaberry kona dark roast from Hawaii that is low acid. That was wonderful! It was roasted the day we bought it. We do take our big espresso machine that grinds the beans and packs it automatically with us when we take long trips in our motorhome. I think we might be sharing a few lattes along the way next year when we take a trip around the US. Best cup of coffee ever was at a coffee plantation in Jamaica. It was roasted about an hour before it was brewed. It tasted like coffee smells. So smooth my husband didn't even add his sugar. Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards

I'm with you castlekat. I like my Starbucks. The funny thing is that I never even liked coffee until I started writing although I always loved the smell. There was a Starbucks just down the road from my daughter's preschool so I'd take my laptop there and write. Another added bonus is that Starbucks has free wifi and that one in particular had comfy leather chairs. I started off with mochas and eventually tried a little of everything. Vanilla lattes are my favorite. I tend to get Starbucks gift cards for Christmas and my birthday so that even makes it cost effective! One day maybe I'll be able to afford one of those cool Castle-style machines but until then I'll happily take my Starbucks whenever I can get it.
