Funny, sweet, tears of joy episode! I only snarled when the scene with Alexis came on...still having a hard time with her character and what has been portrayed this season.
Here's hoping for a trend like this episode.

Yes, we Westerners have whitewashed the story of Genies a bit (or a lot). In the original lore the Djinn were not very nice beings at all. They had a tendency to twist the wishes of the one making them to destroy them. It really does boil down to "be very careful what you wish for, because you might get it"
I'm not sure if it was good or bad to know that the showrunners still know what a good Castle episode is supposed to be like. Kudos to Stephanie Hicks!

Y E S, easily the best episode of the year. Great review, Christine. It was wonderful seeing Rick and Kate in love and showing it to the world. The wonder of a new Ryan Baby. A fun case and great humor. Where has this been all year? The round Table should be fun this week to read instead of all the criticism.

I'm happy for you, Christine, that we finally had an episode that we could just be happy about.
By far the best episode of the season so far. Let's hope that we'll see more of this in the final episodes this year.
