Thoughts on season 8

After the news that ABC wasn't bringing back Stana, I could not bring myself to watch the rest of the season until late last year. The Finale is still sitting on the DVR unwatched. The later episodes that I did ultimately watch were so disappointing. I am not sure if/when I will watch the Finale. I too bought all the seasons except the last one. The Castle disaster has been very disheartening. BUT, I have met some wonderful people and I had many many great hours of enjoyment reading and discussing a great portion of the series. All in all, it was a lovely ride and I am so glad I didn't miss it.

I totally agree with you, Pat! Although I was deeply disappointed in the last season, I won't ever regret all that Castle brought into my life. I love to go back and watch the earlier seasons and my life is incredibly richer thanks to the friends and experiences that grew out of following the show.

I wish Christine would have been the writer for the later seasons! She had some great ideas!
