I was reading that maybe, if they can sign the actors of course, ABC would want to try Castle on a new night as it is a show that does get people to watch?

Well THAT'S certainly interesting! I guess I haven't followed the ratings of other ABC shows so I wasn't aware of the dismal performance of others.

I still have misgivings about even wanting another season of Nathan and Stana wanting so much time off that they're rarely on screen together, but I do have to admit that some of the more recent shows have handled the time off better than the first half of the season was handled. If we could get back to them living and working together, I'd be thrilled to have a 9th season.
