I hate how they're cutting the kissing scenes so short. Would like to see a longer lip lock. Yes, I don't think they could have cut that any shorter if they tried. Caskett deserves better. So true!

Caskett has deserved better since 6x23 Quoted For Truth Hopefully the worst creative decision by Andrew Marlowe in the history of the show can finally be but to bed for good. Glad it was Creasey and Bowman were the ones to do it.

Creasy and Bowman just have that "Thundering Velvet Hand" approach. You ride the emotion and revel in the happiness. They are special and it is nice to see and experience their work in the episodes that really matter.

The thing I really like about this episode is that Stana took back her character and brought the human side back to Beckett that has been sorely missing. When she started to turn the ring while mulling over her conversation with Rick , I knew Beckett was back. He mattered, and Kate let us all know what was the most important thing in her life. I think Stana did some improv there and it sold the scene. I felt like Rick was right there with her. She wasn't running, she was coming home. It was almost like the ring had these magical calming powers. It set her straight and brought everything into focus.

Chad's writing is sublime but both Creasey's together is magic.

Stana had to seriously dial back Kate's emotional intensity to sell the separation. Kate and Vikram just didn't have the synergy that she has with Rick. Glad that this is behind them. It should have happened right out of the box this half of the season. This was a pretty bad story idea from start to finish. It felt like the separation was an excuse to drag out locksat past its due date.
