so as far as everybody is supposed to know, they're still separated. Yet when Castle walks in the first thing they say is Beckett's not here. So they assume he's there to see Kate.....not sure how that's fooling anybody

LOVE that Castle came and was upfront with her. Did you see her face when her told her he did it to protect her from herself? He has always known her, been able to see past the façade, from day one and that annoys her.
