Any Castle scoop? —FredThough Episode 15, titled “Fidelis Ad Mortem,” largely revolves around sending Beckett back to the police academy at which she trained, “There also is fallout from the [preceding] L.A. episode, with regards to Castle’s discovery about his missing time,” says co-showrunner Alexi Hawley. BONUS SCOOP: In a springtime episode, a series regular character will emerge as a person of interest in a murder, ultimately setting the stage for a possibly significant life change. tvline.com/2016/02/23/once-upon-a-time-season-5-spoilers-robin-hood-staying-leaving/

Im alittle more concerned about the bonus scoop. Spring episode - fears that this could mean Kate and a possible way to write her out of S9.

I know some fans have taken it that way but I'm choosing not to. Castle, Beckett, Esposito, Ryan, Alexis, Martha, Lanie and even Hayley are all considered series regulars so that's a pretty wide net. We'll just have to wait and see which character they're taking about in that bonus and what type of consequences. Personally, I'm hoping that it's Alexis and that the "life change" is her choosing a better career path than private investigator!

I don't think they would have Alexis involved in a murder. Castle has already been accused of that by 3XK so would they go there again! Certainly not Martha so it's going to be interesting to see who they throw under the bus.

Anything is possible on Castle. We have all watched Alexis grow up on the show. I would hate to see her involved in anything that traumatic.

A significant life change doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be a bad thing. Could be Alexis will change university and go to Oxford. Martha could go to Hollywood. Becket could be pregnant. Castle could become a serious writer. Who knows.

I refuse to believe it's Kate and that they'll write her off the show. Though I think that the showrunners need to have by now an idea of where they'll go in the end of the season (which episode are they filming? The writting must be in the last couple episodes....). So, in case they want to open the avenue to losing a lead in a possible S9, they would have to pave the way for that.... However, a "series regular" doesn't sound like a lead to me. I really wouldn't mind if it were Alexis and if it helped her choosing a career path like Law. I think she would make an amazing attorney. And that would fit the show, she could work with the 12th precinct, even though we would probably need to wait for a season 11 or something like that for that to happen :-)

Well, "Fidelis ad Mortem" in Latin, means "Faithful unto Death", so you can draw your own conclusions as to what the episode might be about. And, including the LA episode, it appears that once again the two are on different playing fields so I think that the writers or show runners are treading on dangerous ground once again. I don't know how this all ties in, but lets hope it all works. The last two episodes were good, so let's not ruin the momentum. God, the LokSat ARC is just so stupid and it has caused much damage. Why drag it out. Finish it. Do we not think the AG's office is also working on this case? I find it hard to believe the entire AG team is corrupt and that they are not capable of doing their jobs. I hope being at the police academy jogs Kate's mind a bit and reminds her of what she has and what she can have in life if she just remembers that the academy was a means to finding her mother's killer. She needs to understand that it was Castle who helped her solve it all and put it all behind her. The object here is tie all things together so you have your "Till Death Do You Part" moment. I feel that is when she turns to Rick for help.
As far as the scoop goes, why wouldn't LokSat want to pin a murder on Beckett? If LA uncovers Castle's missing time, and someone who can fill in the blanks, and if the time is related to LokSat and Beckett, then getting Beckett out of the way would make perfect sense. Look, this has been a messed up season, no doubt, and this show runs the risk of cancellation, so anything is possible at this point.

Both Castle and Beckett have been framed for murder before, so because of that, and all other reasons, I hope they don't go there again. But you're right, anything is possible. For me, the show came back to the right track since 8x10 and I'm hoping it stays that way. The episodes's title sure is suggestive. Since we know Kate will be back home by 8x16, I am guessing the title is because that's when everyone understands what has happened and they prove their love for each other. Maybe even have a decent marriage! I know I'm dreaming.....

Life changing could be Alexis graduating or being accepted into Law/Med school or Espo's promotion coming through. Never made any sense why there doesn't appear to be any sergeants or lieutenants at the 12th, just a bunch of uniforms, various levels of detectives and the Captain, so he could be promoted & still stay (maybe a throw away line about Sgt. Whoever finally retiring and the slot being shifted to the homicide squad).
If a "regular" buys it I'd vote for Vikram.

Speaking of Vikram, he is in the commercial for AT&T. Just saw it last night, had to play back to make sure it was him.
