New Nikki Heat book in October

Amazon has put up the title and synopsis of the next Nikki Heat book " High Heat"  due out Oct 25th 2016. I am glad tht they will still be publishing the books. This does sound interesting. I have noticed a sudden increase in the mentioning of Castle as an author the last 3 episodes. Looks like they got the authors to sign on for another one.

I haven't been disappointed in a book yet, and this one sounds just as good! Can't wait!

I wonder why the release date is so much later. Doesn't the book usually come out a week or so before the premiere?

I am very excited about the new book...they never disappoint...this one sounds really intriguing. I would love to see a real Niki Heat Movie be adapted to one of these books.

Yay! So happy to hear this news. With the way things have gone this season, I too was concerned about whether we would get another Nikki Heat book.
And this one sounds like it will be a good one!

(Am I reading too much into this to compare Nikki having to save Rook from this threat to Kate's protecting Rick from Loksat?)

There tend to be parallels between the stories in the books and on the show so it's certainly possible.
