Good review as always! I agree with you that Castle is headed in the right direction...it certainly is feeling like the old show again. There were no awkward moments, everyone was working together, it's weird, but I even liked Caleb. Kate expressing concern about Castle on the stand showed how much she really does love him. Toning down their "separation", and not making it too over the top, was not distracting. It seems now that they're back together, Rick is not as bothered that Kate is not telling him too much about Loksat. Wonder if Vikram knows they're back together? Glad Kate wants to wrap up Loksat, so hopefully the writers continue on this path, and get the show back on track!

It is really too bad we couldn't have picked up from the hiatus here instead of the previous episode. It would have made more sense to me to have them keeping things on the down low

I've been in my "happy place" since last Monday and hope it continues tonight. I felt that the chemistry was back last Monday and it certainly was there last night. It was a thoroughly enjoyable episode IMO.

Great review! I agree with all that you said. This was also the first episode this season that I have truly enjoyed, and the first one since 8.01 that I even care about watching again. Hoping we are heading in a better direction for the rest of the season.

lindy - Thanks! I liked Caleb too. It is weird. I wasn’t expecting that. marschg - Thank you…and yes, so far it has been the best episode of the season. I wish we could have skipped Tone Death all together and just started off with this episode…but I’m just thrilled to actually have an episode that I like! geezer2008 - Let’s hope our Happy Castle Mondays (or Sundays?) are back for good. joana - I agree. This had the feeling of the Castle I’ve missed. motowncf - You’re not kidding. It had gotten to the point where reviewing Castle really felt like a job! This episode was the first one all season that I was happy to watch!

Regarding Caleb, I think that maybe the money the victim found was related to drugs/Locksat and that's the real reason why he took over this case. What do you think?

At this point I think almost anything is possible. I have a lot more questions about Caleb than answers. I'm just grateful that I don't feel the same way about him as I do about Hayley and Vikram. At least with Caleb, I'm interested. |
