Oh, and one more thing. Did you like Sunday NIght Castle? I loved it. It is a night where everyone can watch it. I think it could be the gateway or the connection, if you will, to acquiring a younger audience. I think ABC should consider the switch and run it after Gallavant. It may miss Dancing with the Stars of course, but they have to do something. It's just too crowded at the 10pm Monday Night Slot. I think Castle could hit 10 seasons if they switch to Sunday NIght. Time will tell. Just a thought. Providing they turn the show around.

Sunday night's ratings are usually a bit lower than the rest of the week. CBS gets killed that night because they frequently have football or other sports during the afternoon and when those games run late it pushes their whole primetime lineup later. With Castle, ABC could take better advantage of that. I wonder if ABC will be considering this if we hopefully get a Castle season 9.

Did anyone hear Kate subtly suggest that Castle change "Genres"? I think that was written as foreshadowing for the future. Wouldn't you love to see him write the story of one of the biggest cover ups in history? I am guessing that is what LokSat is. Maybe this could be where Castle wins his Pulitzer prize writing about Loksat. Can't remember which episode it was where the man foretold Beckett and Castle's futures - Senator Beckett, 3 children etc!

We REALLY enjoyed this episode as we did last weeks. To me, it's just a shame that it took this far into the season for CASTLE to connect with the fans. The humor, COTW, and Caskett were all outstanding IMO. LOL at all of Rick's "I LOVE YOU" signals. Kate may of protested a little but you got the idea that she liked it. I liked how she supported him throughout the case and how upset she got about Rick getting torpedoed by Caleb. I have so missed all the great things we saw last night.

Kman, you propose some good questions.
First off, I wouldn't be surprised if Castle writes about taking down LokSat n his next novel. It may or may not include a murder mystery though.
I'd be fine with Sunday night becoming Castle's home, but it would always be up against Sunday Night Football. Bottom line though is that ABC can't be too tied to the traditional Nielsen ratings for Castle or they wouldn't even consider renewing it. From what Paul Lee said, it sounds like they still feel the show has a place in their lineup if contracts can be renewed. Sunday night might be a good fit.

They have not mentioned it for most of the season. I think the next episode will also mention writer boy again also. Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards

It's up against Monday Night Football now, so not sure how much difference that would make. Although Sunday Night FB is on a broadcast network (NBC), not a cable network. But at least then it wouldn't get pre-empted in different markets every week like it does now with ABC and ESPN in the same corporate family.
