Thanks Christine!
Appreciate your take. I'll be watching Monday night.

I love that your honesty and objectivity seem to mesh in your writing. You want this so bad to be good, but you see what's on the plate and it allows you to like the peas but pass on the main course. So many writers are so afraid to speak their mind now a days, but with you, we come in with eyes wide open and can judge for ourselves what we like and what we don't.
This new story line is going to still ruffle a lot of feathers, and it may take a while see if the road is "fun" or "real". I hope they pay a little more attention to restructuring the Beckett character so that she understands what a mess she has made and how it not only belittles her husband, with the lame excuse of protecting him, but also forces him to be the fool once again for her. We all know that Rick is not afraid to take the hit for her, but let's hope Kate takes some of the credit for the stupid separation.
I guess time, which they are running out of, will tell.
Nice piece of writing Christine. Loved it and makes me look forward to watching on Monday after NCIS LA.

Yes, I so want to love my favorite show again but this episode did not get me there but that doesn't mean that others won't enjoy it. Writing a teaser post is easy and fun when you love the episode but it's more difficult when you don't. I don't want to scare anyone away. I want people to watch and judge for themselves but I also don't want to say something that isn't true. I'm interested in seeing everyone's reactions come Monday night. Who knows? Maybe others will find "Tone Death" to be more fun than I did. You never know...

Hi everyone
I'm hoping that when I get to read the viewing party/epilogue in the morning, more people will have enjoyed this episode than dismiss it as another wasted opportunity.
PTVJ - I am hoping that perhaps if you watch the episode again when you would normally view it, that you may change your mind about certain scenes and enjoy it more than you did when watching the screener. Whatever, I look forward as always, to reading your recap.

I also hope everyone likes the episode today. I will probably only be able to watch it Wednesday night, so I will do my best to come here only after that. I'm looking forward to view the epilogue and hope we all find the episode fun.
