Concur with your observation. Perhaps more for Martha would be another character for the writers to explore. Of course, all this should occur after the 'confusion' of first episodes of Season 8 is resolved.

I agree we really could use at least one Lanie episode. Everyone else has gotten an episode.

Oh, I'd love to see Martha have more story but I'm not sure that Susan Sullivan really wants to be on screen more than she is but Lanie definitely deserves her own episode. It's an insult that she hasn't gotten one in over seven seasons.

Lanie, without a doubt. Love the girl. Would be great to see Kate be there for her this time. Supporting and loving her as friends do. They have had plenty of time to develop the friendship between those two. Wish it would've been utilized more. I do love the bromance between all the guys, Castle with the guys included, as well as Kate with the guys, but lots of missed opportunities for the Kate & Lanie friendship.
At this point, I'm also going to say Rick & Kate TOGETHER. lol................... *cheesy grin* But I mean it.... lol...

She's sassy and spunky like she used to be before the whole Pi arc from season six.

I would love Lanie to have more screen time and more "girl talk" with Beckett. Speaking of Beckett, since this season seems to be more of Castle PI, how about giving Beckett the screentime like she used to have? More Beckett/Castle time together.

Totally agree with what TVLine had to say, especially about adding more characters this season taking away screen time.
It's way past time for a Lanie-centric episode and to find out more about her.

My vote here is Martha but Im going to add Caskett to my list too. Not nearly enough couple time going on here.
Also, anyone notice the disturbing trend on ABC twitter/facebook pages of no Beckett, no Caskett pics. I love me some NF (Im a devoted follower of Yummy Nathan) but it seems he gets the lions share of press. Getting alarming and noticeable. Hmmm...
