I don't think it's sobbing, but rather frustration. Anyone who has watched the show since day one knows what great magnetism these two had between them and we just couldn't stop watching this relationship develop. Where is the relationship now? I mean Stana has to go Paris and misses an episode, Rick is still a PI and not a writer. Vikram controls Beckett. Rita tells Kate the way it is and she buys it hook, line and sinker. A battle she had no reason to fight now consumes her. Can you trust her? Rick really, in the back of his mind, has reservations about her coming home. Is he being controlled by Kate to keep him from this case, except when needed? No Halloween show, No Thanksgiving, No Christmas because ABC only give them 8 shows to work with. No Hamptons, no real Honeymoon, a Sham of a Wedding, and I could go on and on and on.
Where is the fun? And yet we are told that there will be playful fighting between the two in public. That should make us happy. No going out to dinner, no movies, no plays, no vacations, no shopping, no nothing. In short, no life. Morning get togethers, Kate coming in and going as she pleases. Nothing to put on Page 6 which this show used to have fun with. No fun anymore. Why does everything have to be a crisis? Breaking down walls, learning how to love yourself so you can love others....yes, Kate gave us all hope that YOU CAN CHANGE....YOU CAN BE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO BE.....and now look at her. This is not the woman Castle married. This is a broken relationship in desperate need of repair. This new change of her "kinda home" is not the answer. Both need counseling now, as a couple and individual, as they struggle to find out who they really are and how they can make this ridiculous relationship work. Love keeps them hanging on by a thread. It is their common denominator, but then a guy like Vikram seeks to destroy it so he can have Kate all to himself.
This show has so may flaws and it is missing the "You Smell Like Cherries" wow factor that drove us all nuts. A simple hand on the knee, and then Rick holding Beckett's hand in his as they fade to black.... an "I Love You" read from a love letter that we all saw through...a kiss that shook the world....didn't you want more in that Ambulance as she was wrapping his hand? I went bonkers....Almost Freezing to death, Kate tries to tell him she loves him....A bomb counting down to zero as Rick, hand in hand with Kate, pulls the wires and Kate embraces him and oh...how we wanted more from that scene...
YOU GET THE PICTURE....IT'S ALL MISSING...IT'S OUT OF SYNC....IT'S CHAOS AND WE ARE FRUSTRATED....WE FEEL LIKE WE LOST OUR BEST FRIENDS. SO ....Again...so many great comments.....and the interpretation of sobbing I understand, but like I said, we are just worn out waiting for the fun we keep hearing about. These writers are inferior...RG is right. First four years were the APEX for me. Great writing and crazy sick acting from out DD. They were so good......now, it's just....ugh....a struggle, because even when Kate says she wants to come home, we question her motives, we are not sold on Rick being 100% for it. The season is shrowded in mystery. And we don't have a clue how this ends.
