Another good review. First, the Boys. It was hard to watch them fighting, and I'm glad it was written seriously rather than the humor that they are usually associated with. You can't throw away 10 years of partnership in a few weeks! Having Castle as their buffer I think was a good way to keep him involved, and Kate didn't seem to mind it too much. As to your question about isn't there another female cop to go undercover with Kate? I'm sure there is, but why have screen time with another new person? As you said, Haley wasn't as irritating this time, and did not come across as a know it all. Also, Alexis had the perfect roll in being undercover.

Oops, forgot to finish! Yes, there is hope for Rick and Kate. You can tell in her voice she still wants to be with him, and he is giving her time, but, glad that he is figuring out what's going on. I'm with you, hopefully this arc ends soon and get back to them working together!

Nice review, ProudTVJunkie... I too am cautiously optimistic, have watched this ep. twice now, and of, course THE KISS!!! What worries me though, are the "secrets and lies" (which actually seemed to be mentioned at least a couple times throughout the ep) and how that will be dealt with. RE: Alexis' red hair....you are not alone...I actually said to myself, yikes, yet another vibrant shade of red....meoooow ... hopefully she is not working toward a Christmas red ... I know, meow, meow, meow

Great review! I managed to stay out of here for the whole day until I could watch this episode, so I had no idea what would happen. I have just finished watching and I finished with a smile on my face too :-).

IMO, that was the best episode of the year. It was great to see Rick and Kate in the same scenes together. It was almost like old times. It was a "happy dance moment" when Rick grabbed Kate and kissed her and they were truly Caskett. Oh how I've missed those scenes!! It was fun seeing the looks and pensive thinking going on. I had to laugh when they were talking to the boys about their separation. Rick and Kate should have been looking in mirrors and listening to their own advice. It was a very well done scene. Like others, I did not have the urge to push a delete button for Hayley and Alexis this week. I actually rewatched the show right away. It was so nice to have an episode that reminded me of better days. Nice review, Christine. I almost agreed with it all except for a couple of minor things that bothered you but not me. I always look forward to your take on things.
