Hi everyone
Looks like most fans do not see this early return as a good sign. Anyone think that you will have more breaks or do you think as I read somewhere that the series will end early as in March or April?

B.x I doubt ABC knows when Castle will end just yet. The winter/spring scheduling is still a work in progress. They canceled Blood and Oil and just canceled Wicked City after airing only 3 episodes. That may have played a role in Castle coming back early. They also have mid-season shows starting in January and have no idea how they will perform. And of course they'll be looking at the Castle ratings when it returns in January. At this moment, I think anything past the shows starting up in January are complete speculation. |

Another factor is the election. Primaries will mostly mess up Tuesday nights, with periodic updates as the polls close plus probable pre-emptions in some markets as their polls close, so shouldn't impact Castle too much. But there may be some debates scheduled for Mondays. Best guess is new episodes most of January & February, then re-runs March (college basketball) with final batch picking up in April through May finale.

Did anyone else catch the Promo after tonight's episode where they said Castle is returning Feb 1st? Looks like ABC went back to a Feb return instead of Jan.  |

No one's sure if they've changed their minds yet again or just forgot to update the promos before air time. Either is possible. We probably won't find out until tomorrow which is the correct date but they are confusing the heck out of fans. |

If they change it back to Jan now they will have insured that Castle fans who don't have OCD, will not tune in until Feb. that should insure that this will be the last season as the rating will crash and burn. |

Looking on ABC'S website for Castle it definitely says right at the top returning 1st February!

I really hope that someone who does ABC publicity for Castle actually earns their salary by promoting the series so that people know exactly when to tune in for Castle's return.
