Yes, it's a lot of fun. I enjoyed it and so did my daughter who is already talking about a Supergirl costume for next Halloween.
I agree that Melissa Benoist is perfect in the role. She's a great combination of adorable and determined. I also liked Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy (James) Olson. I was a fan of Mehcad on USA network's Necessary Roughness and I look forward to seeing him in this role.
I'm part of the Supergirl round table for TVFanatic so I'll definitely be watching.

I also liked it a lot. In our book, it beats the darkness of Gotham.

I enjoyed it also. I agree about Gotham. We started watching that but when it went so dark we bailed.

My husband and I really enjoyed that show, too. It was nice seeing actors we liked from some other shows: Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal); Jeremy Jordan (Smash season 2); Laura Benanti (NBC's live production of The Sound of Music). We're hoping this show will follow in the footsteps of Smallville with compelling story arcs and interesting characters.

I keep re-watching the first two episodes and find myself wishing that Castle had this sort of spark and energy.
Supergirl may be close to overtaking Castle in my favorite show Melissa Benoist is a treasure to watch as she follows in her more famous cousin's footsteps and finds her way.
I'm really hoping her boss is The Martian Manhunter and not one of the Kryptonian escapees though.
