Hi everyone
A general request that someone give a recap please? Not sure how closely I will follow Blindspot once the season begins in the UK. I was just about staying with it last season.

I spent 2 hours yesterday trying to get out Cable or even the antenna to work for the TV. Nothing would work ? so I will have to watch on my computer or iPad. At least I have good internet tonight.

Poor Jane.

Great start to a 2nd season. I wonder if we will get back to the "solve the tattoo " every episode again or if they will just move on. I remember them saying that they had enough tattoos to go on for many seasons. This new season looks to be off to a great start. I was worried where they would go after then ending last season. I just bought the season on Amazon. Much easier to download on the road than iTunes. I'm done with iTunes.

Great first episode. Did not see the twist regarding seeing/earning more about Jane's past from certain shadowy figures whom shall not be named (no not Voldemort). Gotta say I loved the episode. I've been itching for the season to start since I learned when it would air. tycho657 - You too? After watching the season 2 premiere I was like ... hey I need season 1 so I went and purchased it from Amazon.

(I thought you meant the seasons on DVD) but now I know you mean the actual episodes. I am sad that so far this seems to be the only show I might be interested in ... although I might give Timeless a try.

Okay.... here you go, 1lincoln40.... ******************************************SPOILERS******************************************* : : : : : : : : : : : The scene opens with Jane all badass. She's been in captivity and tortured for the past three months, with her captors wanting her to spill about her involvement with the FBI. She isn't talking. She uses her skilz to escape her prison and goes undercover working as a dive motel maid, to make some money until she figures out what to do. The FBI team gets wind of her escape and goes searching for her. They find her, tension, drama, verbal sparring, etc...ensues. FBI wins and they put her under a sophisticated lie-detector test, she spills all. They find out Mayfair is dead, that Oscar killed her, and other details from the finale, but she insists to them she did not know what was going on until it was too late, and tries to convince them that she did it to protect Kurt and the team. They are furious. Mayfair is missed by all. A new cast member is introduced that has vital information from Jane's past, and the mission she was trying to carry out. (So far, I like this new actress. I'm skeptical of her motives, and the jury is still out for me as to if she's a good or bad guy). They let Jane convince them that she has to keep going to help get them intel on "Sandstorm". She does, and here's where the plot thickens. ......................... We learn Jane's full name, her history, that she has family.... and the motives of Sandstorm. OHMAGOSH................................ She is going to have to be a double agent - no other choice at this point. The plot thickens and something isn't going to end well. Kurt is hostile, but it's obvious he still has feelings for Jane/cares about her very much. We learn there is a mole on the team/the FBI and I have my suspicions who that may be. I do not like the dude who replaced Mayfair. The team has made it clear they miss "tatoo detecting", so I have no doubt we will return to that, @tycho... that is too much of the premise of the show not to carry on with that. Many mysteries remain, many puzzle pieces to find and place. Can't wait til next week! That's all I'll share for now.

If you like Blindspot, you should like it. Very different shows, but much drama. Can be a little dark at times (and bloody), but the story is well worth trying to navigate through the mire.

I finally had the chance to watch the season 2 premiere tonight. Unfortunately, if it's not a show I review I may not have the time to watch it right away. And 1Lincoln40, I don't review Blindspot. Although I liked the show last season, I didn't love it. However, this season premiere was definitely a favorite. Jane is that great mix of being strong yet vulnerable and I like that the team now knows as much of Jane's back story as she does. I'm thoroughly intrigued and looking forward to more.
