Personally I think his first reaction, where he asked if the show runners were high when they came up with this was the correct response.
What I find most disturbing is this: "As for the other shoe yet to drop — the next “shift” to come for Rick and Kate, in the fall finale airing Nov. 23 — Fillion had nada to tease: They haven’t told me yet, so you already know more than me!”"
This interview was posted Saturday, October 10th. I'm assuming it was done at NYCC or Paley Center. The Fall Finale is already filmed and done. How could they have not told him about the next big shift? Does Nathan simply not see it as a shift for the characters or are the showrunners messing with us? I really don't know what to think.

Nathan is very careful not to spoil things that haven't aired yet. Also he only memorized his lines for that days filming. I think he promptly forget then by the next day  I say at this point just sit back and try to enjoy each episode as it comes.  Sent from my SM-N910V using proboards |

I really need to stop reading interviews from anyone in the Castle world.
I need to pull out my Miriam-Webster and refresh my memory on the definition of fun. Apparently I don't understand the word anymore. If 8x03 was supposed to be a "fun" episode then I missed the memo. Castle & Castle, PI? No. Slutty Angel Super Sleuth Alexis?? Barf, barf, barf. Castle insinuating his way into cases to try and win his wife back from her misguided and stupid quest for justice?? Heck no.
I'm afraid we're in for a long season of this so-called "fun". <sigh>

I really need to stop reading interviews from anyone in the Castle world.
I need to pull out my Miriam-Webster and refresh my memory on the definition of fun. Apparently I don't understand the word anymore. If 8x03 was supposed to be a "fun" episode then I missed the memo.
