This looks great and lots of fun - which I'm more than ready for - BUT, it also seems like a bizarre leap from the closing of 8X02. Something that serious and dramatic needs to be addressed and not just glossed over so I sure hope that it's given its due in the opening.

Won't know until I see the whole episode tonight but it sure looks like this might be what I feared - that they won't be addressing the seriousness of Kate's actions last week. This was a 3 sentence exchange about it and it was quick and in a lighter context. I hope there's more somewhere in the episode.

Hey, this sounds a lot like their pillow talk in early season 7 about forgetting the 3 month disappearance and just moving on with their lives. Guess Castle can just pretend Beckett is working late at the precinct when he goes to sleep in an empty marital bed? Maybe this is the new mythology? Season 9 will be Castle's turn to leave because his writing is suffering and he needs time work on serious fiction. In season 10, Beckett will leave because she's pregnant and needs time to decide whether to keep the baby in a world where she can't protect it from The Dragon III. Season 11 will have Castle kidnapped by aliens in a ship resembling Serenity. By season 12, they will introduce a new mythology so stay tuned for some exciting times ahead! |

LOL, but I'm a normally disturbed person and this promo pushed me a little further around the bend. Did it remind anyone else of S1?? It was like she was blowing him off AGAIN with her remark about not having time for this now. Have we seen this before? What's new about Rick chasing after Kate to get a crumb from her?  |

For the first time in my OCD life, I have not watched the sneaks. NO desire.
AND, another first... not going to be watching live tonight. Just no excitement. I feel like, from what I'm hearing, been there, done that.
Have a great evening, peeps. Here's hoping we can get the Castle-Love feeling back again. This bums me out to no end. I am choosing to be optimistic, but that doesn't mean I'm ready for more of my Castle heart to shatter. It's already broken.
Maybe I'll watch tomorrow.
