Sorry for the delay, but with the delay comes good news**. Early numbers show Castle safely in second place with a 1.6 in the demo and 7.76 million viewers. Blindspot was once again the leader at 2.6 and 9.08 million. NCIS LA was 1.2/7.55. Let's hope the ending did not turn people off.
**One thing to keep in mind with the adjusted numbers. ABC in Milwaukee and KC aired the football game and not Castle. So look for an adjustment down.

I am surprised we were up so much. I did watch NCIS LA last week and it was a very poor season premier. Very confusing story. I am not on a hurry to watch more.
I think they will see a big drop for Castle next week as many fans will bail. I hope I wrong.

I agree with you tycho657. The ending did tick me off and I can't think of an episode ever for me that has done that. I was speechless. I can't believe that is how they ended this episode.

I DVR-ed Blindspot and not without some degree of Castle guilt. LOL I passed on Blindspot last week and ended up watching online. It was a good effort. This may be trouble for Castle.

Unfortunately, a big adjustment down. Final numbers for Castle was 1.2 demo and 6.70 million viewers. Blindspot 2.6/9.11. NCIS LA WAS 1.2/7.66 million.

I'm more worried about next weeks numbers! Me too. There are a lot of very angry fans threatening to tune out. Hawley and Winters took a big gamble and I'm afraid they've played a losing hand...but we'll know when we see the numbers next Tuesday.
