Nathanfan & I have met and talked with LT on two occassions. Sweet guy. We learned , the first time we met him, that all of the background characters use their real first names on the show. He said it made it easier for the cast to not have to have one more thing to remember.

I think this was a great piece and a very fitting tribute to the background actors. It impresses me that most of them have been a part of the show since the very beginning and that tells me that they're doing things right. People love to come to work and hang out with friends AND they feel appreciated for the work they do. It speaks highly of everyone.

Meeting and talking to LT both times we've been to LA has been a real treat. He's so warm and friendly and really loves what he's doing. I also noticed in this video, the guy that came to LA from Wisconsin. He must be the one who brings the cast cheese curds whenever he goes home for a visit. LT mentioned that to me when he heard I was from Wisconsin so I mailed him some cheese curds and he remembered getting them and enjoying them. Fun way to connect!

This was really quite fascinating....never stopped to think about or been exposed to what it's like to put a show together, especially from the point of view of the "other actors".  Thanks, larryholmes !
