Good Morning, All! We've got a gorgeous fall day here, but we've all got our fingers crossed that we'll get some rain soon. It looks like we might get lucky with a 1/2 an inch or more Wednesday night into Thursday. We don't really have many droughts here in the northeast, and if we do they are almost always in summer, so this weather is very unusual. But I am enjoying the 60 degree temps in November, even though I'm sure they won't last. geezer2008, I can't believe your grandson is 6'1"! That must feel surreal. And I hope you both enjoy the basketball season. My daughter has a role in the high school play which takes place in a few weeks. She loves all of the friends she's made in the drama club. I'm looking forward to seeing her in the play. I'm also looking forward to when it's over because she has rehearsal Monday - Thursday and now on Saturdays too and I'm growing tired of having to run back and forth to the school so many times a week. So, how is everyone else's week looking? Please, check in and let us know.

I might have to break down and turn on the heat today. We are having unusually cold weather. they say it will be back to normal in a few days. I am going camping for Thanksgiving next week down South so I hope it heats up a little. Gearing up for the St Vince food box distribution next week. We should have food for 60 families or so. I will post next week on what we actually do. Anyone have their Christmas decorations up yet? I will wait until Dec.

tycho657, I tend to wait until Thanksgiving to put up the Christmas decorations. We usually do the outdoor lights first, and then indoors, since we get a real Christmas tree. We actually have a tech appointment on Friday because our heat doesn't turn on. Thankfully, we have a service plan. The pilot light is on. The thermostat seems to work, but no water is going through the system. (We have hot water radiators). It's not too cold yet, but it will be soon, so I hope it's an easy fix.

I have a heat pump that does AC and heat. Because our winters don’t usually get too cold it works. I have a small tower heater that I use in the RV. If it gets really cold, I guess I can bring that in and use it this year. I’m heading out to see the new red Santa movie as it is five dollar Tuesday.

tycho657, let me know what you think of Red One. I'm considering seeing it. I already have tickets to take my daughter and her friend to see Moana II next week. And I've got to call my Mom today so we can coordinate the Thanksgiving menu. The holiday is coming up quick.

I liked it. I think it will become a classic. Well worth the $5 matinee ticket.
