I was out to lunch today with a group and discovered that everyone with Verizon has no phone service. I tried to get on the restaurant wifi but it wouldn’t let me do that either. My phone went into “SOS” mode. I wonder if they will tell us the cause? It was all over the country I think? Anyone else have issues

I heard a related news story this morning that acknowledged the outage and noted that cause was still being investigated.

Yesterday Bank of America had an outage. We do so much on line now it is crazy with all of the major outages happening. Makes you wonder if we have bad people doing this or if the systems just go out? I do most things on line now thru my computer or phone especially when I am traveling in my RV.
Anyone else having issues?

Neither Dawn nor I have had problems. I heard some folks mumbling about this a church and in grocery store. But, not too much around here compared to news reports.
