Hi All, Now that my daughter is back in school, the week just flies by. Thankfully, her first week of high school went well. She seems to be enjoying all of her classes and looking forward to joining some clubs. It's a big, regional high school, so there are LOTS of extra-curricular activities to choose from. Last week, we visited Princeton University. It's less than an hour from us. My husband and daughter enjoy photography and wanted to try out some new lenses. The Princeton campus has lots of large trees, gardens, and amazing architecture. Plus, the town of Princeton is lovely. We took our dog and spent the afternoon just wandering around as they took photos and had lunch at an outdoor cafe. Lots of people stopped to say hi to our German Shepherd, which she loved, so the whole family had a great day. We've got near perfect weather again this week. High 70s to low 80s and sunny. We can't ask for better than that. So, how is your week looking. Please, check in and let us know.

I think my morning swims are coming to a close. We had our last 110 this week but the nights are getting colder. My pool has been 76 degrees in the morning. I'm now a wimp and like it over 80. I might have to go with the afternoon and just read a book and drink a nice glass of white wine. I will be happy after the election to not have to fast forward every commercial. As I live in one of the "swing" states we get constant adds from everyone running for office. I have gone to Disney and watched more National Geographic and other programs on there without commercials. I need to start re-loading my RV for camping season which will start in October. I am looking forward to getting away from the city and enjoying the peace of nature. I volunteered last weekend for the Arizona Humane Society for their FREE adoption weekend. We did empty out many kennels of dogs and cats. They have had so many this summer. Thank goodness they get sponsors to fund these free weekends. I always look for people who are not just looking to take any animal but they are looking for a new family member. I work with the cats, of course, and I point out that they don't smell "cats" as they walk around the kennel rooms. They use "World's best" cat litter. Well worth the extra cost. I use that along with a litter made of shaved walnut. My house or RV do not have any "cat" smell when you enter.
