Hi All,

Sorry for the delay. It's been a long and busy day. On the upside, we got down the shore last week for a perfect beach day. The weather and water were beautiful! I'm hoping we can try to get there again some time this week.

Over the weekend, we had some crazy thunderstorms. We got over 4 inches of water in under an hour! It caused some flash flooding, but thankfully no one was hurt. North of us, they got almost 10 inches of rain and I know there were some deaths due to the flash flooding.

Sounds like the east coast got hit with the hurricane that went up off the coast.
We have been getting some 110+ weather here this week. I love my pool 🤩
I'm working on Season 2 of Castle.

Actually, our weather wasn't from Hurricane Ernesto; that was farther out at sea. Our storms came from the west and were stalled over the northeast because the pressure from Ernesto kept them from moving out to sea.

Hurricane Ernesto is actually north of us and far out in the Atlantic, and yet it's causing strong rip currents on our shores, so much so that we decided to cancel our beach day tomorrow and reschedule for next week just to be safe.

Of course, you don't have those issues with your pool!

Glad you both are doing well with your extreme weather. Ours has been fine but we are in for 2-3 days of hot, humid weather but then it is back to very nice days again. Green Bay has had a really nice summer.

Pete's fall baseball has started and he is playing well. He had to try out for this team. It is composed of mostly HS kids and he is just going into 8th grade. Much to his surprise, he made the team and is quite happy.

We always take the twins out and get them a couple of things for school clothes. We had lunch too and a nice time. Then we came to our place to fish. We caught a bunch of panfish and Pete caught a 2-3 pound bass which really made him happy. We will sneak in another day of fishing this coming week before school starts on the 3rd.

Friday night, my SIL and I went to a HS football game. We go quite often each Fall. LOL, it gives us a chance to bond

Rikki and I saw Deadpool and Wolverine last week. It was just as irreverent as the first one, oh my
