Hi All,
Sorry for the delay. I've been calling root canal specialists most of the day. Unfortunately, there were no cancellations for tomorrow, so I started looking for other places. The only place that takes my insurance and has openings this week is about an hour away. As I'm tired of being in pain, I booked their one opening for tomorrow. Wish me luck!
Clearly, it was a crazy weekend for our nation. I don't even know what to say about it.
But I hope you are all safe and had a nice weekend. Please check-in and let us know how your week is going so far.

Tooth pain is not something that can wait. I hope you get it taken care of tomorrow. Not fun! I really want to go to the river and do some kayaking but my back keeps saying not yet... At least my pool is close and is great for my back.
I was so bored the other day I started watching Castle from season 1 again. I use to watch the new episode then listen to the episode again the next day. After that I would watch with the closed captions on as I found out there was dialog sometimes that they didn't say.

Sorry to see this that this tooth problem is lingering.
Today is forecast to be the third day in a row of high temperature of 100! Yard work is being done between 0530 and 0700...only the dog goes out [very quickly] in afternoon.

Although, I don't look forward with catching up on it. We've had a thunderstorm almost every day, coupled with the heat, it's made everything grow like a jungle.

I just read a review of a local restaurant. They said the s'more pancakes were great. Shades of Castle's s'morelets! Although, I'm sure s'more pancakes would be much better than s'more eggs.

Well, we did see the oncologist. He ordered a PET scan and my husband had that last Friday. We have since found out the dr isn't in network! The primary care dr sent in a prior authorization form for continuation of care. We're still waiting for that approval. Meanwhile, my husband is in terrible pain and wants treatment to get underway. We scheduled an oncologist who is in network, but the earliest appointment is July 31. The wheels in the insurance world move slowly when time is of the essence.

Hopefully this 'worldwide automation network SNAFU' being discussed on the news does not delay things more!

So sorry for you and hubby DRVRTRNR. Certainly pray you get some answers and treatment soon! Rikki just had one of her annual cancer scans and everything is fine at this time. We are so very thankful. The twins are done with their summer sports so we get a break til school starts. We have a couple of fun things planned so are looking forward to them. We have been enjoying summer movies. We took twins to see Despicable 4 and we saw Twisters yesterday. We enjoyed both. Twisters was quite good and the special effects were outstanding. Everything is green and lush here. The temps have been mostly enjoyable with some really hot days tossed in. This week will be in 70's and 80's with no really hot days til next weekend.
