Hi All,

Summer is now in full swing! How is yours going? It's hot here, but at least we seem to have gotten a break from the humidity today. And I managed to get the front lawn mowed and a little yard work done before it got too dreadfully hot.

And now I have to run out. It's my husband's birthday, and my mom had severe dizzy spells last night and was admitted into the hospital for tests and observation. I'm going to check on her now.

But please check in and let us know how things are going where you are.

I am sorry to see your comments about your mother's dizziness.

Really hot here too. The 'feels like' temperature here is over 100 already today for the seventh day in a row! I have been out at 0530-0600 daily to do some watering. There is already discussion of watering limitations pending.

We will be over 110 here all week. I really want to get in my pool but I'm afraid with my back issues I might have trouble climbing out.

We were hoping to go to the Nascar race at Pocono tomorrow, but unfortunately I need root canal! I'm on a waitlist to have it done on Tuesday, but in the meantime I'm afraid we'll have to skip this race.

I hope you are going to an endo specialist and not your dentist. Especially if it is a back tooth. I have had too many root canals over the years.

Yup, that's why I'm on a waitlist. Some of the endodontic specialists in this area have up to a two month waitlist! That's a long time to wait if you're in pain. Unfortunately, there is a big practice that has openings, but they no longer take my insurance.

So, fingers crossed I get in on Tuesday. If not, I'll be making more phone calls and widening my search.
