Hi All,
Sorry this post is late, but I'm still catching up from being gone part of last week. I'll update you all on my trip to Bobbie's funeral on the Update on Nathanfan1 thread to make it easier for everyone to find.
I took my car in to be repaired this morning. Insurance is covering it, although I'll have to pay my $500 deductible with the hope that the insurance company will recoup it from the other driver's insurance company when all of this is over.
The damage didn't seem all that bad to me, but apparently it will take nine days to repair and cost close to $3k! At least the auto body shop was a pleasant experience. They had a wonderful office dog named Bailey, and offered me chocolate. Clearly, they knew how to keep me happy. The rental car was already there and waiting for me. So far, things have been as easy as they can be.
RG, I know Livingston well! Years back, I used to work there. And I've always wanted to visit the Thomas Edison museum, but have never gotten around to it. It's in West Orange, the next town over from Livingston. Now that you've mentioned it, I think I'll add it to our list of day trips for this summer.
And I'm so sorry to hear about your computer/Microsoft problems. I've been a Mac user for most of my life, but have had to use Microsoft for different jobs, and it was usually painful to update anything. It seems the only upside to it is getting to hear your entertaining stories.
And tycho657, I'm so happy to see you're getting lots of quality time with your family. I've seen some of your pictures on facebook and those kids are adorable!
We hit 91 degrees today and are slated to get close to 100 by the end of the week. I like the heat but that's just a little too much for me.
Okay. It's time for everyone else to check in and let us know how things are going where you are.
