How's your week going? - April 22, 2024

Hi All,

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Ours was great. Our daughter was in her first school play, and I may be a biased Mom, but I thought she did fantastic. She played Mrs Wormwood, the mean mom in Matilda. Her grandparents were there too, and then we all went out to celebrate afterward.

On Sunday, we finally celebrated my Mom's birthday two weeks late as she and my step-father had Covid over her actual birthday. Thankfully, they're fine now. It was extra fun because they had us bring our dog. The dog loves their house as it is much bigger than ours and open concept, so she has fun exploring. There's also an upstairs loft area, so she can look down through the railing and watch everyone below. She seems to enjoy that. Plus she gets lots of attention as my parents love having her there.

Overall it as a great weekend and I'm hoping for a nice, sunny week ahead.

I am on the last stop of our "Rolling Rally" with my RVing women at Patagonia State Park.I am looking forward to getting back home on Friday. I started out on April 6th with my other camping group and met up on stop #2 of the ladies trip.
I am looking forward to doing some kayaking on the lake here. Today was windy but I'm hoping it will be calm the next couple of days.
My engine battery is dead but I can start my engine with the "house" batteries. I already have an appointment to get a new one when I return Sat.

I completely understand them choosing privacy, but I do hope we get to see their child some day. Any child of Stana's must be adorable.

This has been such a busy week. We're almost done cleaning out the main storage unit. We have junk guys coming today to haul away the fridge, freezer, and a couple of other big pieces. Then we have to sweep it all out and we're done before the deadline tomorrow.

Unfortunately, our dog is sick. Despite being vaccinated, she has kennel cough which is highly contagious. She's on antibiotics for the next week, and can't be around other dogs for the next three weeks. That will feel like a long time for a dog who loves playing with other dogs.

tycho657, I'm glad to hear you're getting that battery replaced. Driving an RV with a failing battery doesn't sound good!

Aww sorry to hear your puppy is sick. Hope she is healthy soon.
Got my new battery today. I was robbed as the charge was $319 🤪 I know a couple of my RV friends would have helped me do it but I just wanted it replaced.
