Hi All, It's Monday once again, and I'm not sure where last week went. After feeling better, my husband and I emptied our storage unit...only to get another one. You see, they raise the price every six months, and now they had a special on new units making the same size less than half of what we were paying. We just had to move everything out of the original and into the new unit. Thankfully, we got it done. I'd love to get rid of the unit altogether, but that's not likely to happen any time soon. Also, my daughter's school had their 8th grade talent show last week. She wasn't in it but wanted to cheer on some of her friends. I drove her and her friends there and decided to stay and watch the show. I'm glad I did. The kids were great, and the kids in the audience were really excited and supportive of the ones on stage. Even teachers performed. A teacher closed out the show by playing the guitar and singing Sweet Caroline. I never would have expected a bunch of middle schoolers to sing along, but they did. It was a fun night. As for today, it's in the 30s with wind gusts up to 40 mph. By Thursday it's supposed to be 70 degrees! So, check-in and let us know how things are going with you.

Your weather seems just like ours here in western Virginia...especially so windy! Then, there is this weird forecast. Apparently, there may be some 'nominal' snow later this week. Given the way things have gone so far, I have a parka and shorts ready for whatever arrives!

It's March 11 and we still have a house in our neighborhood decorated for Christmas! There are occasional houses with white lights on a shrub or along a fence, but this house has the multi-colored lights covering the shrubs the length of the house. I'll never worry about keeping my lights up too long again!

Given the way things have gone so far, I have a parka and shorts ready for whatever arrives! We live in the northern part of the Shenandoah Valley and the wind last night was at times frightening. The sky was clear, the wind was howling and I heard a tree fall in the woods behind my neighbor. The icing on the cake was the two momentary outages of less than a second that caused my generator to go off at 1:30am and 2:45am. I am sure my neighbor was thrilled. During the afternoon we had a snow shower while the sun was trying to come out behind the clouds. It came down fast and heavy for about 20 minutes and made for something interesting to watch. Hmmm, spending time watching snow fall on a windy day...yep, the phrase 'Wild and Crazy Guy' certainly does pertain to me!

Home from back to back RV camping trips. We are having beautiful spring weather. I posted a puzzle of the double rainbow over the Superstation mountains Where I was camping the last week. Lost Dutchman State park is located at the base of the superstition mountains and it's a beautiful park. I need to practice my trumpet for next weeks. F m c a national rally in Tucson. I have volunteered to be a mentor to help new visitors to the fMCA rally also to drive golf carts. And play my trumpet with the frustrated maestros.

Anyone doing anything fun for St. Patrick's Day? We're not Irish, but we do love our corned beef sandwiches! So I'm making corned beef, and bought rye and Swiss for Sunday.
Anyone else have plans?
