Hi All,
It's Monday once again, and I'm not sure where last week went. After feeling better, my husband and I emptied our storage unit...only to get another one. You see, they raise the price every six months, and now they had a special on new units making the same size less than half of what we were paying. We just had to move everything out of the original and into the new unit. Thankfully, we got it done. I'd love to get rid of the unit altogether, but that's not likely to happen any time soon.
Also, my daughter's school had their 8th grade talent show last week. She wasn't in it but wanted to cheer on some of her friends. I drove her and her friends there and decided to stay and watch the show. I'm glad I did. The kids were great, and the kids in the audience were really excited and supportive of the ones on stage. Even teachers performed. A teacher closed out the show by playing the guitar and singing Sweet Caroline. I never would have expected a bunch of middle schoolers to sing along, but they did. It was a fun night.
As for today, it's in the 30s with wind gusts up to 40 mph. By Thursday it's supposed to be 70 degrees!

During the afternoon we had a snow shower while the sun was trying to come out behind the clouds. It came down fast and heavy for about 20 minutes and made for something interesting to watch. Hmmm, spending time watching snow fall on a windy day...yep, the phrase 'Wild and Crazy Guy' certainly does pertain to me!
