It's February. It's strange because part of me feels like it was just Christmas, and part of me feels like January last forever. But at least we are slated to get sunshine all week! A nice change after 11 straight days of clouds. ibmjas, I didn't even know about the eclipse, perhaps because it doesn't look like we'll be able to see it here. But that does sound pretty cool if you're able to view it in your area. I'm hoping for an easy week, although there's plenty to get caught up with around the house. Let us know how things are going where you are.

I am picking lemons and tangelos this week. I have the 2024 batch of limoncello brewing. I will give away most of my lemons. I save 3 long skinny bottles of lemon juice in my freezer for lemonade all summer. They found my water leak. It is in the fill line for my pool. Thank goodness it was not under my house. I have noticed the high water bill for 4 months. Glad to finally find the problem.
Camping this weekend. I just hope the big storm hitting California does not bring snow the the area I am camping. It's only 3,000 ft so hopefully it will just rain. Superbowl will be viewed from an RV. Most of my group have satellite TV for on the road. I just get off the air TV as I like to escape when I'm camping.

It's a nice sunny day so far. The Phoenix Open activities start today. Of course the big California storm is on the way for most of the week. The golfers are likely to get wet and the course will be soggy. For some reason it rains more often than not during the Open.
We had an unusual event at our house this morning. We needed to backwash the pool and the hose exploded twice. It sounded like gunshots! That has never happened before. The pool guy is comi9ng Wed with a new hose. I hope this is the last of our pool trouble for a long time.
Netflix released a documentary about the recording of the "We Are The World" song in 1985. It's a who's who of music royalty of that time. There are at least 40 artists although several have died since then. I hi8ghly recommend it for anyone interested in the stars of that time.
Have a good week everyone. (I didn't mean to like my own post. Clicked the wrong thing.)

Yikes! Nevertheless, it is always an exciting period for the New Year celebration.
