Hi All, The weather is beautiful this week. High 60s and 70s, so I managed to get some yard work done today and I'm so happy about that. The lawn was mowed front and back, the front yard was edged, I got some pruning done and I started digging out the flower beds. I'm hoping to finish up some of that tomorrow. Yesterday was my husband and my anniversary. We really didn't do much, but we did have a little cake to celebrate. And I just had to go clean up after Astrid, our German Shepherd who is about to be six months old, tore apart her bed! Ugh. It was a nice one too. Nothing like a teething puppy to cause chaos. DrvrTrnr, Congratulations on your new granddaughter! That's wonderful news. And I love the name Sabrina. Everyone, please check in. We love to hear how things are going where you are.

larryholmes, Yes, it was 38 degrees when we were walking to the bus! Too cold for me but my daughter swears she doesn't even need a jacket, and the dog seems to enjoy it. But we're also supposed to reach 80 degrees on Saturday before diving back down into the 40s. It might not be so bad if it lowered gradually, but these big swings in temperature are a little harder to take.

We have had really nice temps for us at this time of year. This week, though, has been a LOT of rain. It will bring in more normal temps in the 30's and 40's. Halloween will be in the 30's. We feel bad for the little ones. The twins just turned 13 on the 21st and still want to out this year which makes me happy as I get to pass out candy one more year. They live in a neighborhood where they typically get over 100 kids so see lots of great costumes. Otherwise, we have been good. We got to enjoy Fall but now it is time for annual Medicare Physicals, blood tests, and cancer stuff. Every year it gets a little scarier but is necessary. Hope all have had a good week!

Finally getting my RV window replaced. It was broken back in March. I have driven it to Maryland and back to Arizona and up to Oregon coast and back to Arizona. It will be nice to be able to open the window in the bedroom now. The painter is touching up some areas first then the window will go in. The last thing is to figure out why my front dash keeps coming loose. We are in the 80's this week. Finally getting away from the triple digits. Today is Black Cat day so I posted lots of pictures of my amazing black cat Presto. He is an amazing cat who is tuned into me. He is never more than a few feet from me in the house. He is always greeting me when I come thru the garage after being gone.
