Hi Folks, How is everyone this week? ibmjas, I saw your photo of Alice Cooper. That's pretty cool, but I'm sorry you missed him. If I had saw him I'm pretty sure I would have thought, oh that guy looks kind of like Alice Cooper. I suppose the hair and makeup he wears for shows works in his favor if he's trying to not be recognized day to day. nathanfan1, are you still getting caught up after your lack of internet for six weeks! And how is T-mobile cellular internet vs AT&T dsl line? larryholmes, are you still doing some gardening or has it gotten too cold. tycho657, have you made it back home or are you stil on the road. I can't believe the temperature change we've had inside of a week. Last week we reached 83 degrees. Yesterday we only reached 54. And it's currently 41 degrees this morning with the breeze making it feel like 38! I wanted it a touch cooler, but I'm not ready for this. So how are things where you are this week? Check-in and let us know.

I was back for a week and now I am off camping again until Thursday. I have cancelled out of my other camping trips for the month so I can finally get my broken window fixed. It got broken back in late March and it has been on back order. It came in 2 days after I left for Oregon. I will also have to have some touch up paint done and then the “Diamond” coating reapplied. At least this is covered by insurance. I can’t afford anymore repairs on the RV. My water bill has jumped the last 3 months going up a lot. I must have a leak in my pool. I hate to think what that will cost. I am careful on my water use. I have all desert plants that don’t require much water.

It is down to 42 here at 0800...but, forecast for low to mid 70s by Friday. We are clearing and cutting-back all over now. Dawn really knows how to plan and develop great plans. Currently, we are filling four to six [once eight] paper yard-waste bags each Wednesday. The city garbage, recycling, and yard-waste staff have great job security because of us. Dawn is also the 'volunteer high school band grandmother' too. She was surprised how few parents volunteer to help with uniform fitting and performance props building. Finding that so few know how to sew was another surprise. She takes her portable sewing machine...apparently a rare household item...and adjusts uniforms frequently. Last week she took a power saw and small toolbox with her for an afternoon and evening of background props session.

Hi All, Hope everyone is doing well. We are great and enjoying Fall. We went to see a 4 Seasons and Frankie Valle tribute band last week. They were awesome. We also went up to Door County to visit a dear friend of mine suffering from Stage 4 cancer. He's barely been retired a year. Just very sad. This is another busy week. Rikki is at knitting group today and I am being "Susie Homemaker" today. LOL, I scoured the toilets, made out the grocery list, and am making a meat loaf dinner with corn and mashed potatoes for supper. Tomorrow, I will do the grocery shopping and Rikki is making Tuscany Chicken. Wednesday, we are going to lunch with our Daughter. Kids are back in school so we can have some alone time with her. Thursday is Book Club. I read a great book this month titled The Door-To Door Bookstore. It was an International Bestseller by a German named Carsten Henn. It was described as the feel-good novel for all book lovers. It was all of that and one of the best books I have read in years. Friday night, I am going to a HS football game with SIL and grandson. Saturday, we are going to the final session of the Green Bay Film Festival which is always great fun. Well, that is it for our week. Hope all of you have good weeks

Well, I caught my husband's cold and have pretty much lost my voice! We were supposed to see my in-laws for birthday celebrations this weekend, but as he's getting over a cold, and I'm in the middle of one, we've decided to postpone. And the weather is perfect to get yard work done, but I'm just not feeling up for it. On the upside, my kitty is very cuddly, which is making me feel better.

Sorry to see this. Colds seem to appear at the 'wrong time'...if there is a 'right time'. Hopefully you will get relief soon.

Our temperatures have been a lot more seasonal: in the 90s during the day and high 60s to low 70s overnight. The whole Phoenix metro area is buzzing since the Diamondbacks swept the Brewers and the rival Dodgers. Nobody expected that to happen, especially the TV commentators. The Phillies are next up. That will be a tough series, but anything can happen.
Sunday night at midnight our daughter will be at the hospital to get induced. It's 2 weeks before her due date, but she's had high blood pressure for most of the pregnancy and the doctor wants the baby out. She and her sister were both born at 38 weeks, so this baby should be fine, too. We're excited to see her and find out her name.
geezer, have you seen The Jersey Boys play (not the movie)? We saw it several years ago in Las Vegas. Since you like their music, it's a wonderful show and I highly recommend it. The movie is not as good. I'm glad you enjoyed the tribute band.
nathanfan, I'm glad you finally found a solution to your internet problem. I've missed reading your posts. We have T-Mobile for our cell phone and have been happy with the service. The local cable company has ads on TV touting their internet service compared to T-Mobile's implied "inferior" service. If COX cable would lower their prices, maybe so many people wouldn't be cutting the cord, lol.
